Happy Thursday ba. Into it with Restless Nights, bba coffee porter, a Boulevard/Modern Times collabo. Not to bad as a simple coffee porter but the bba element is rather lacking,

 

AleSmith ForgeBerry 4.9%. It's crisp and refreshing. Reminds me of diet cherry 7-up.
I don't hate it but it's not the best Raspberry Tart beer.

Next is some 2020 Bigfoot. Maybe it's because I haven't had this in a while, but the hops in this one are really strong. Like now I can understand why some complain that it's more a DIPA than a Barleywine.

 

Right along here ba with something a bit more to my liking,

 

Olde Hickory Wheat Wine with Brettanomyces and Apricot

 

I like almost all of Melvin's a lot, but Melvin IPA and Hubert are the two that I drink the most. Just wish we could get em fresher in this corner of Wyoming. Colorado distro is much better and I get most of my beer down by you guys. Probably heading that way tomorrow.

 

Sierra Nevada Stout 5.8%. This stout is weird. Like coffee from jail mixed with celebration it's good tho.

 

Friend of mine brought this back from an expedition into the wilds of Long Island City. Absent Amazon, I guess we New Yorker will have to make due with an absolutely vibrant beer culture there. Too Much Trombone? is an AIIPA collaboration between Fifth Hammer and KCBC and 100% delicious. Dare I say, more like Not Enough Trombone:

Calvert Brewing Company Mortal DIPA. Lots of citrus/pith/rind with an earthy, bitter finish.

 

Central Waters - Rye Barrel Chocolate Porter.. cheers!

 

Along again here ba. Cherry Stout, bba stout, CW. Single bottle pull for the hell of it,

 

First Nova in awhile and it is still awesome.
