    So...two things.

    1. It’s crazy to me that it’s March 1st and there hasn’t been an Alchemist thread started yet this year.

    2. I happily noticed that the recent cans I bought at the brewery had dates on the bottom. Huge thank you to the brewery for finally dating their cans!

    edit: 3. I’m drinking a Focal canned 2/18 and it’s phenomenal.

Do cans sell out by late Saturday? I'll be there around 5 this Saturday. Haven't been to the "new" brewery yet. Sorry I know this is an annoying question.

They would have cans available late Saturday. Doubt anything would sell out day off its release if that is something you are asking, though you never know.

I don't think things really run out anymore. at least not things like heady and focal.

In my experience Heady is the only beer that sells out at the brewery. This is due to the beer being made in Waterbury and the wide distribution of cans to stores and restaurants. They re-up stock fairly fast, but I have been there twice in the last couple months where Heady was sold out and I had to grab a couple four packs at a local retail location.

No worries anymore in my experience on HT or Focal running out. The Skadoosh series seems to go fast, but I’m guessing thats a smaller canning than some of the others. And like above poster said, in case they run out, you should have no problem finding both cans in local shops in Stowe and surrounding areas.

12 different beers available today. I'm heading up in a month and just happened to look today ... most options I've ever seen at the Alchemist.

that’s substantial. You don’t see alchemist stuff on tap a lot (IME) even in VT

Very true. For awhile the only account that had it on tap was Hen of the Wood, and even now it's a rarity. Surprising.

Stopped in briefly yesterday. Agree glad to see dated cans finally! Looking forward to the newest Skadoosh cans. So many options there. Was kind of surprised by the price on the Petit Mutant. Is that normal? Wish they bottled in smaller format.

Doc Ponds (same owners) have alchemist on draft a lot too. Stowe Publick House had Alchemist draft?

That's standard for a 750ml. bottle of theirs (incl. Wild Child and Sterke Wit)- but worth every cent! It used to be canned in 16oz. cans but they didn't cellar very well.
