I'm fine dying on this hill, $175 is obviously a lot for a glass, but glass blown products are typically expensive given materials/equipment + labor time + skills, and a "slushy cup" is appropriate branding for 450N, as oppose to Tired Hands and bongs.

I had to look up where the brewery was and if I lived and worked there you probably can't find a more creative way to blow your money than those glasses or the ridiculous "rum flavored" beer they're making.

Speaking of 450N, I wonder if OH has done any ABV testing on their fruited sours. The Mmm... Fruit series seems like its not saturated to the point the ABV would be wildly off but curious about the Crunchees.

I opened a bottle with my friend last night. I really liked it as well. Coconut and almond came through a lot, while it wasn't as sweet as some OH stouts, it was a bitter sweeter than normal Sunday Brunch. I felt my bottle had really low carb on it as well. Also it was missing that distinct maple flavor I love in SB, but I did really like it.

The low carb was a sticking point for me. The beer felt a bit flat and lifeless compared to what I’m used to from the brunch series. Also I found the coconut addition to be overwhelming (not surprisingly). Why was coconut even in this beer exactly? Idk, didn’t hate it but was hoping for more balance I guess.

Weird. I thought the bottle I had, had an almost perfect level of carbonation for a big stout. Agreed with @stevebrownsteve about the coconut though - didn’t dislike it but seemed unnecessary. Is there a massive global surplus? Are these guys invested in a coconut farm (if that’s even a thing)? Why the fuck is it in everything?

Serious price markup. It was only $125 when they originally announced that glass on Feb 11, when they had 20 to sell. Down to 10 now so I guess the rarity factor is in play.

My biggest gripe with the 450 glass is that, unless the glass lid and lip of the glass are threaded to where they screw together, you're essentially forced to drink beer with a straw.

The comments section on their IG post is great though. Basically a bunch of glassblowers wrapping their arms around one another and fiercely defending the glass. I get their arguments, but they've gotta come to terms with the fact that expensive glass isn't for everyone. Hell...I like expensive glass things and that glass isn't for me. For the amount of money they're asking I'd rather have a glass made by Frit or Memento.

Yeah I assumed their "crunchee" treatment would outweight the Kane side of the beer. I thought it was good, def coconut forward (and yes, OH must have stock in Coconut and Wild Thai Banana) the same served it well for what it was. But I prefer the less sweet maple/coffee forward Sunday Brunch over this one. But I am glad I have another to drink, since my buddy cracked his for us.

I've seen at least one can shaped glass (Carton Boat) not sure if it was 12oz or 16oz

I’d buy a marginally less than 16 oz can glass that fit perfectly into a beer coozie for summer drinking. The ones they make now always stretch and ruin the coozie.

And strange how I thought coffee and some cinnamon stood out and didn’t notice any coconut. Well my palate is not good.
