Yeah it was super good, best IPA I've had from P3 (I haven't had a ton)

Just left Bitter Pops. Not much Pressed available...3 cases maybe.

Phase Three reduced to shelfie status. Really tempted to grab a Pixel Density from last week but also tempted by Trio tomorrow.

Thoughts on Pressed Reserve yet? As usual, Untappd is all over the place. I sent my wife out to Binny’s to get some Hyper Dog, which unfortunately had not been delivered yet. But she came home with some Pressed instead. I’ll take that trade-off. I’ll be popping one tonight, so I’ll post my feedback.

Pretty surprised to see Pressed for $12/can at Ovie. Normally their prices have been decent. The worker tried justifying it by saying if he was to sell me a 2 pack it would be $25 to $30...

If you have an issue with Tugboat coffee beans...this one won't change your mind.

not super-surprised by that, since I just paid $11 for a single can of Perennial coffee stout.

Hate to see how much this proprietor is charging for hand sanitzer. One bottle for $15. 2 for $100.

I really liked it. Pressed is probably my favorite series of beers going right now.

Not sure about normal prices at Ovie but I generally see 2 packs of pressed for like $12-13.

So, yeah. I really had high hopes for this. Now I’m thinking the other adjuncts were masking a poor coffee profile. I feel like I need to take 2 weeks and try it again, after it’s hopefully mellowed a bit. I mean, it’s a coffee bomb, which I normally love. But the coffee seems to be fighting with the lactose sweetness, instead of melding with it.

I was also pretty disappointed with Trio of Stars. I’d normally blame it on my palate, but these are the first beers I’ve had since Saturday.

Yeah, Ovie sometimes has some ridiculous pricing. The last time I bought Pressed there, it was only $10/can though.

    Smart move.

I'm on the other side and really liked it. I actually thought the coffee did meld very well. I'm not anything of a coffee connoisseur though.

Same, there's a real roastiness to it I loved

To me, the roastiness you mention came off as bittering. It’s like when you get a pour from the bottom of a pot that has been sitting on a burner too long. It was unpleasant after a full glass. But maybe my palate was sensitive since those were my first beers in 4 days.

I thought I’d gotten pressed for $9 or $10 in the past.

One sip and I understood this completely. Something about the sweetness that I’m not digging with the bitterness.
