He seems like he would be a cool dude. His interview on Hot Ones with Sean Evans is one of the better interviews I've seen...really measured and thoughtful responses

I remember being in Jr High watching him chug a beer, flip Dwayne Johnson off, and “stun” him. Good times...

I was there for the Broken Skull release, and he was awesome... I then bumped into him during a Power Plant release party, and he was very friendly, talkative, and just plain awesome.

I told him thanks for making my childhood awesome! His response was “thank you for letting me have the fun I got to have while doing it.” IMO, he’s my #2 favorite wrestler of all time... Sorry, but HBK is #1

Smashing a Highland Park Hello, LA right now. It’s just kind of ok. Not terrible, but nothing special.

Drinking the Beachwood/KRBC collab, Peak Bagger, and it's absolutely fantastic. I expected nothing less

Really digging Ghost Town’s new Monkey’s Paw, the newest release in their rotating draft-only “Juicy IPA” series.

Have you heard if they are going to package any time soon ? Heard they just expanded production and we started getting kegs occasionally up in nornorcal. They got hops for sure

They distro their year round stuff (like Inhume, Pillory, Final Rites), and have started canning a decent amount of their rotating IPAs for sale in the taproom it looks like.

They are definitely one of my favorite newer Bay Area breweries for new-school west coast.

After not buying it for a few years, I picked up a very fresh pack of Stone IPA yesterday and was reminded how it was a revelation to me in 2003-4ish. I was very surprised that I still found it so good and aromatic.

I was forced to drink it a couple of weeks ago when we were in Fremont St Las Vegas. That all the dance club/bar at the Gorden Nugget had. It was that or crap bottles. I found it very bitter. Yes, it was good back in the day. And it was one of my first IPA’s trying to figure out what style of craft beer I liked. If Sculpin was on tap I would of gave in and bought Sculpin instead of Stone. I don’t Sculpin anymore.

Sampled 7 or so west coast IPAs while in LA last couple days. Favorites were MT’s dream river, on tap at Dojo, and Green Cheek’s Pet the Tiger. Was a little let down by Riip Super Cali. It was fine, nothing wrong with it. My expectations may have been too high.

somewhat inspired by @jakecattleco I picked up a can of widowmaker from fall river today. Canned 1/23/2020, so just about 7 weeks old but man it is better than I remembered. Big orange and tangerine flavors up front and a nice piney back end. And at 10.2% it'll surely calm the nerves

they just opened up a big facility on the south end of redding/anderson. I haven't been there but theyve been putting out 16 oz cans of all their ipas plus 6x12 oz cans of their lager (hooked, it's nice enough and I've seen it for 7.99 around redding) I hear the new facility is a nice big industrial brewery spot but haven't been.

Agreed, just tried one last night and I was impressed. Well-designed WC IPA and they obviously got their hands on an excellent crop of Nelson.
