Much like you'd prefer to take your dog with you, some places don't allow kids which limits when I can visit. That's just life and I've learned to accept it instead of getting upset.

Seems like a flexible, open minded sentiment to have about this sort of thing. Also, as @BuckeyeOne himself pointed out, it's not as if he doesn't have plenty of other outstanding options that do allow dogs in the Seattle area. I was actually pretty surprised by the number of places he listed that are dog friendly. I don't think dog owners have it so good down here in PDX.

Anyone got recommendations for places in Seattle that do good coffee alongside a solid taplist? We were at The Dane the other weekend and realized that there isn't a lot of overlap with the two things. My wife isn't always up for alcohol, but is normally always down for some good coffee. Kind of a shame that we don't have any breweries that have an interest in either roasting their owns beans like Modern Times or partnering with a local roaster like Great Notion.

If you were in Bham, the answer would be Camber. Maybe next time you're up......

Retreat at Greenlake should fit the bill.

I live near that place and never think about it.

Damn shame Chucks has no interest in doing coffee. Oh well.

MiiR right near Fremont Brewing has a pretty great taplist as well as some good coffee.

That reminds me — Stone Way Cafe just up the block has a pretty good taplist as well

i think it's kind of rude. not to split hairs, but the term "service animals welcome" is a lot better then "no pets". i left my service animal in the car. farmhouse my ass lol they don't want pups smashing their stemware and shaking their fur everywhere. i get it. the vibe is pretentious and cool, and packed with a matching clientele. i had a great time but i'd much rather drink beer with dog elsewhere.

The two times I've been to Fair Isle (a Thursday night and a Friday night) I was surprised by it being mostly older retired people, so a bit different than the Holy Mountain vibe.

Oh yeah, Urban Family's grand opening in the new Ballard spot is tomorrow. Kids and dogs welcome.

Are you saying I kill the vibe when I go to HM?

How exactly is a no pets policy rude :rofl::rofl: You only go places that allow dogs? Must make it hard to eat out. :scream:

Check out Hillcity Taproom over in Columbia City. Coffee is a relatively newer addition for them.

Figured we could do some running updates here.

    Figurehead is offering beer delivery.
Fremont has closed down the UBG but still selling beer to go in the mercantile.
    Mammoth closing temporarily on Monday.
Think about doing crowlers or buying cans or bottles. Most places are no longer allowing for personal growler fills.

If you’re planning on a vacation, stay home. Please don’t come to Seattle right now. Just stay home.

Reubens has joined Fremont. Went through Fremont and got the new HFOD as well as the virtue and peche they came out with yesterday. For a place I've spent so much time the last few years and is a neighborhood staple it feels so weird that having a pint at Fremont is something not currently possible.

Glad Tex and company made that decision though.
