What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #2708

So what a wild 2 weeks as stuff has gotten pretty darn crazy. Poured into a 13 oz Snulip glass canned on 3/18/20. Pours a hazy orange with a two finger sticky white head that leaves thin streaks of lace with excellent retention. 4.25

Smell is earthy herbal hops, mandarin, pineapple, ripe melon, and apricot. 4.25

Taste follows hard to describe except herbal, melon, tangerine, pineapple, and apricot really tasty. 4.25

Mouthfeel is a solid medium, soft gentle carbonation, not dry, and at 7% it drinks that way and really goes down easy. 4.5

Overall another really nice NEIPA from Kettlehead. 4.25

 

That is a fantastic theme for a series of beers. Are they all IPAs?

 

I believe so, Loowit rarely makes it this far north in Washington so not 100% sure.

*Edit, just went and checked and yup, all IPAs

 

Still one of my favorite art work from them and one of the best NEAPAs ever.

Put my, for now, last box of TBBW goodies in the “mail”, @scream ... then made one last Publix run where I got some decent BOGO beer ... home now with a late lunch beer: “You Should Smile More”, a DDH DIPA from CCB in collaboration with Pink Boots Society:



Hopped with Azacca, El Dorado, Idaho Gem and Loral. Canned 3/6/20. Bought at the brewery 3/9/20.

Pours deep gold/pale amber; excellent clarity; thick almost fluffy white head; very good cap retention; heavy ring; medium heavy lacing. Earthy lemon rind nose. Earthy bitter hop flavors - grapefruit, lemon, guava and melon; semi sweet malt foundation. Medium lite body; medium minus carbonation; no astringency; no warmth; lite sticky feel. Overall, very drinkable; no hint of 7.8%; light bitter linger.

4.75 | 4.25 | 4.25 | 4.25 | 4.25

 

From Short's Brew, Good Humans, a very enjoyable, dry-hopped double brown ale. Heard this at the market today and seemed appropriate:
