Going to head down to Kane prob around 130ish today to grab some stuff before I try to lock myself inside and avoid going out while this all hopefully gets better, will report back.

I generally keep a stack of those 4 pack holders on my mini fridge, when it gets big enough I bring them back to certain breweries I know will reuse them after sanitizing.

I went yesterday at 12.30. A fellow pulled up as I was finishing my order but we were the only two around. Smooth operation. Tent set up in far corner with table full of offerings. The complex around them was still very much in working order. Seemed to be a ton of activity in the other businesses.

The "distributor" of the lids, I take it? They don't buy them direct from PakTech (or another manufacturer) but from a middleman supplier?

"Certain breweries" ? Why can't they be named? Do they only accept their own "color" (e.g, Carton=Orange, Kane=White, etc.).

I’ve brought them back to Tonewood and they’ve taken them. I don’t know if they reuse them actually or not. I’d hope they do because they took them but you never know I guess.

I brought back all types to Carton, although I have not been there in a long while. I also have brought them back to Other Half a few times as well. Outside that I keep a bunch on hand to use when bringing beer places and I am not using a cooler

Am I using those holders wrong? Every time I take a beer off, it breaks a few if the teeth and if I try to reuse them I usually end up with falling dented and dirty cans.

a few breweries use cardboard 4 pack holder (e.g. the Veil), and frankly they suck. the beers sweat and softens the carboard and they really don't hold the cans as securely. Have lost and/or dented up more than one can carrying with that style....

    yeah, calm down hulk.

hold the 4 pack with one hand, use other hand to grab the can you want and pull away at an angle - sort of like taking a bottle cap off. you'll be pulling it out of one side and the other side comes free. i've taking out a lot of cans in my day - very few if any broken caps that can't be reused.

So i got to kane like 2ish, empty roads for the most part. Lots of stuff going on there, but I was the only customer when i arrived, got a few 4 packs and 2 crowlers, had to wait like 10 mins for the crowlers as they were filling new ones. One of the girls walked them over to my car for me, all around a great experience and they are going through the right steps to be safe. Hopefully I will see the crew soon again, but if not I was glad I could support them today with the uncertain future ahead

Got a growler of Sneakbox from a bar by me who is doing fills of all their beer while they do take out food. It was weird and I know there was some discussion on this a week or 2 back. I haven't had it in a while but the color was off as was the flavor. Perhaps it oxidized, but def was not what I remembered or wanted.

i wouldn't judge sneakbox off the taps of a restaurant - very rarely are they maintained as well as they should plus who knows how old that keg is.

but yeah, next time you're by TE grab a 4pk from the bottle king. it's still a solid beer but i can feel HH overtaking SB as my favorite canned core.

Yeah I am thinking it was an older keg. this place has an extensive rotating craft selection, I woudl like to think they maintain the beer and their lines well, but the fact they have other stuff rotating in and out something like SB isnt often ordered. I had port omna, sip of sunshine, and wrench filled and all those were great.

I’m so happy Coastal Plain is hitting Wegmans. Insta says starting Monday but local Wegmans stores (South Hersey) are saying Friday.

If anyone sees any out in the wild before then feel free to post here. One of my favorite beers by Kane last year, they did an amazing job.

Weird, if I venture out I'll be sure to let you know. Been trying to do my part and stay home but eventually I'm gonna lose my mind if I stay at home too much longer. We grocery shop near wegman's so if I'm up for it maybe i'll venture over. Will report back if I do.

Grocery shopping is practically the only thing I leave the house to do (aside from a neighborhood stroll with the wife or an emergency work call). That said, keep it on the d/l but Wegmans has been a lot easier to deal with than ShopRite has been as far as lines are concerned (Mt. Laurel location...I always have shit luck with the Cherry Hill location and I don't like the fact that the beer/liquor area is in a separate building)
