Agreed. I think those requests are very serious as are any brewery post of a new beer that gets flooded with the ISO/FT in the comments.

I’m sure there are people that get a ton of trading done on IG and I’m probably in the minority on this, but it’s one of my biggest pet peeves. From my experience, it’s also the same handles time and time again. Probably my low FOMO meter, but never understood the need to chase each and every new beer.

@Affinity Back at you buddy. Like Rachel said, let's throw some parties on the flip side.

all the people offering monkish & bottle logic (which is all the ISO/FT people) are 100% landing all those whales.

Is there anything prohibiting SP from selling beer currently on draft to-go?

Are breweries allowed to tap a keg, take it off, cap it, and put it back on at a later date? (If so, doesn't the beer begin to 'spoil' by following this method?)

This is a great question. When I was in St. Louis last weekend I wanted to ask our SP friends to let me buy from the on-site list to take home. Open it before sending me out the door...take a pour for yourselves, I don't care. Just let me have it!

I don't think there's anything preventing it besides not wanting to and not having a set-up / materials for crowlers/growlers.

No reason they wouldn't be able to take a keg off and put it back on and have it be fine. I'm sure how long a partially tapped keg will last depends on the beer style, but since CO2 is taking the place of poured beer it's not like it'll go flat / oxidize rapidly.

In my experience working with draft beer systems, taking off kegs that have had beer poured from them is not harmless. It depends on how full the keg is and how long you wait to retap it. CO2 slowly comes out of solution and messes up the pressure in the keg causing it to pour foamy. One fix for this is to tap the keg but turn the gas off, purge all the CO2 out of the keg with the release valve that all keg couplers have, then turn the gas back on and let it return to the set pressure. Side Project also has top of the line draft systems that let them adjust the flow rate of each beer from the tap handle which can help mitigate foamy beer.

Has anyone scored a Brooklyn vibes today? Seems they did a silent release...or they just didn't make it live online?

I assumed they were teasing a future release. Not sure how or why they would do a silent release with the way things currently are.

According to the online shop reservations will start "sometime this weekend" for pick ups next week. I guess that means tomorrow.

Did I see someone on their story opening a bottle in NY? Or was that just staff or another brewer (from OH)?

I wondered about that too. Maybe someone was gifted a bottle a few weeks ago at the other half festival, when it was on tap?
