Have a good Friday. Had a good long sleep last night, still sore from yesterday. Took my first mountain bike ride in 3 years, so I am going to definitely be putting in hard miles this year. Still need to get back in shape, but that shouldn’t take too long. Going to do a long rail trail ride in the afternoon. Should be low 50s by then. Just a light layer would be needed like yesterday. Love my new Pearl Izumi shoes, just put cleats in them yesterday. I had gotten them for Christmas over 2 years ago, and they have been in my car ever since. They are far more comfortable than my Specialized shoes, and way easier to walk in on and off the trail.

Bell’s Blackbeard's Bear Hug. Fantastic stuff. Poor head retention/minimal lacing as expected. Fair amount of floaties. Aromas and flavors of huge milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, cream, cinnamon, coconut, rum, toasted oak, roasted nuts, and dark/brown bread; with lighter notes of coffee, molasses, dark fruit, smoke, char, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Increasing booze in the aromas as it warms, but not overwhelming. Mild herbal, grassy, roast, charred bitterness; and rum/oak/cinnamon spiciness on the finish. Medium carbonation and fairly full body; very creamy, silky, velvety, and lightly slick/sticky/chalky/tannic mouthfeel. Mild increasing warmth of 14.4%, and lingering rum booze after the finish. Dangerously smooth/soft sipping. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitter/spiciness. Amazing balance of rich malts, vanilla, cinnamon, and rum barrel presence/integration; light earthy hops and fruity yeast. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. Not overwhelming on any aspect. They did a fantastic job on it! Sure the rum is shockingly boozy at first, but it smooths out as it warms up. 4.25

903 Mississippi Mud Stout. Awesome pastry stout. Nice fluffy head retention/foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big milk chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, fudge, brownie batter, roasted pecans, toast, and dark/brown bread/crust; with lighter notes of coconut, molasses, dark fruit, char, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Loved the aromas, smells just like the dessert. Light-moderate herbal, grassy, peppery, roast, charred bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and fairly full body; very creamy/silky/bready, fairly sticky/chalky, and lightly slick mouthfeel. Mild increasing warmth of 12%, with minimal lingering booze. Dangerously smooth/soft sipping. Awesome balance of rich malts, vanilla, marshmallow, pecans, and cake flavors; with balancing earthy hops. Mild residual sweetness with lingering bitter dryness. Loved it, probably would have been better if it was less bitter/drying. 4.12

Also the most underrated. I barely listen to Enter Sandman anymore(just because it is always on the radio), but love every track on the album. They know how to jam some riffs.
