Kane is just stealing all of my beer money lately. I’ve only had Third Reef before...wasn’t a big fan but have heard good things about First. I’ll certainly be grabbing a pack.

And forget my earlier whining about Morning Bell not being in cans; I’m always down picking up a bottle at Wegmans...I just hope there’s some left for us plebs who can’t make it up to the brewery consistently

They had plenty of First Reef yesterday (Thur). It's really a wonderful beer. I did not see MB but then again i wasn't looking for it. Just grabbed the FR and ran!

Unless the guy at wegmans was wrong I just called they are charging 17.99 for coastal plain, that is an insane mark up. Can anyone confirm this if they bought some from a wegmans?

Yeah that is a bullshit price! I’m still not venturing out until my beer supply is gone anyway.

I stopped at Wegmanns East Hanover yesterday. We needed food so i tried to do a 2-4-1.

I believe Coast had a label saying 12.99 and first reef that i purchased was $18(cant find the recipt to verify). tried to grab 2 morning bell but hte sku was not in the system at that point

most likely confused coastal plain and first reef; that sounds like first reef pricing. Bridgewater Wegmans has the following prices on their site:

    HH - $13.99
    Party Wave - $17.99
    Coastal Plain - $11.99
    First Reef - $17.99

I’d be very willing to pay those prices. (Although I wish the others IPAs were a little closer to Head High in price.

Yeah as I’ve said, since I stocked up 3 weeks ago I still have a lot of beer and no actual NEED to venture out for more yet, even though I’d really like those new Kane releases.

I just got back from Wegmans Mt. Laurel like an hour an a half ago...the cashier who rung up my Coastal Plain cans said “oh damn, I just mistakenly told a guy these were $17.99”. I wonder if that was you lol

Haha. That’s pretty funny it had to be me, I assumed he was wrong and went too. We must have just missed each other.

cracked a party wave from the stuff I picked up last week, tasting really great. I really love this beer. I fondly remember going down straight from work the day this hit draft only years ago and getting pour and going Wow, still get that from time to time and this batch hits the mark. Stay safe all, cheers

so...how much morning bell did Kane make? Are people not buying this up? It surprises that it's still hanging around a month and a half later; even with some in distro.

Personally I hope they can make it a core year round offering, if I could get there I would definitely be buying a few more bottles.

Would love it to be but I doubt it would be year round, Evening Bell being year round makes more sense. I assume part of the reason it has lasted was the shift to 500ML format over 750ML, which gave a bigger yield bottle wise. Also each year the actual amount they brewed seems to be larger and it lasts for a bit longer. Couple that with the whole Pandemic thing it makes some sense. I have a bottle still and I was going to send it to my friend but now I don't know when we would want to do it so I may just drink it and then get another.

I'm just outside delivery area, hoping the expand slightly further in the coming days.
