Work is over. Nothing will make you hate humanity more than submerging yourself in it. I think I might social distance permanently when this shit is over. Maybe move somewhere small. Decoraha Iowa? New Glarus Wisconsin? Time to watch Ozark. Was gonna get Busch but sprang the extra $4. I think it was definitely worth it but I've never tried Busch.

A couple of local liquor stores In Acton had focal and heady yesterday. Heady sold out in the first store I hit, but was able to snag a four pack in the other. It’s a one time drop as far as I know, and I’m sure it’s related to the brewery in Stowe currently being closed. It was a welcome surprise indeed!

Oscar Blues/Cigar City Bamburana, 12.2% ABV. One of my favorite beers, hoping they come out with it again sometime. Since we now get OB and CC distribution, hopefully we'll see it on shelves here next time. Must still be on shelves somewhere, since I see it on the Beer Haul thread occasionally. Still outstanding with almost 15 months on it.

Did a curbside, no contact pickup at Trillium today in Canton today. Some of the people working there in the pickup system were relocated known faces from Fort Point. It was good to see them. Hopefully some of these folks can continue with rent and bills. And hopefully more, rather than fewer, breweries can weather this.

Continuing the only buy locals as this continues. This is Juicy Juicington from 30 Mile and it's pretty juicy.

Saved a final pour of Arthur for today. Still remarkable. I must get more of this.

So my employer is defying the nonessential closure order, and is working us all, not limiting the amount of people that come in, not allowing us to keep distance between us and others, so we're forced to be crammed in the store like sardines with two employees who are sick and coughing, and patrons flooding in. Gotta love greedy sons of bitches.

Happy Friday everyone. Be safe out there. Wash your hands before touching your face or eating. Keep distance between yourself and anyone who's not in your home. Drink good beer.

    Cheers!

May grab another sixer of these when I go for VI and Oberon on next beer run. Trying to stay disciplined both with clearing my beer on hand first before purchasing more, and starting a second year of weight trimming. Last year I got down to 20s-30s era weight, trying to hit Sophomore/Junior High School weight this year. Looking forward to warmer weather and increased exercise.

Rain letting up in my neck of the woods.

    Drink on!

Pale, straw yellow body; thick, soapy head that fades a bit much in the end. Nice lemony and spicy aroma. Lemon bread taste; lemon zest; very mild hop bitterness; Medium-light body; crisp; gentle acidic quality to things; semi-dry mouthfeel.

My can sample was packaged 02/12/20. All in all, a nicely balanced beer, not too over-the-top with dull citrus notes and featuring nice, subtle light malt grain with a deft bit of citrus hop elemen

Wait a minute! Are you saying Hamms was more expensive than Busch? I get a 30 pack of Hamm's for 9.99 in Suburbs and Wisconsin. I bought a 30 of Hamm's for buddies for 17.99????
