Yeah, between bottle shop drops, delivery, and people still going by, it's kind of crazy how quickly they seem to be moving through cans. Obv draft sales are hurting them, but maybe we'll just keep getting even more cans.

Also maybe if we refer to queens as north brooklyn they'll get a drop.

I live in Hoboken so no delivery options available here. They were avail as per the IG story when I woke up this morning but then I missed the updated one because I was already driving there. Fine with it, really. Glad that they have found a way to keep on brewing and moving their beer under these circumstances.

Not sure why I assumed you were referring to delivery, it definitely makes sense that they only deliver what they have a large stock of.

Matt did say on StealThisBeer that they have enough cans (and I’m assuming labels) to last them up to 5 months. So most of the stuff they brew is probably going 100% in cans (rather than a split between cans and kegs)

I was a little annoyed- gave my wife my second to last can of Hop Showers and she was like, “eh.” I was like, damn if you weren’t hotter than @RauchbierFan33 ‘s wife we’d have a problem here!

Grabbed Green City. These are the beers that OH makes that I love. No adjuncts, no lactose. Simple hop combos. This beer soft, bitter yet flavorful and dry. Could crush a case if this no problem. Centennial is criminally underrated when it comes to NE IPAs

While there aren't many I want on their own, school hop additions are underrated in NEIPA.

I still occasionally think about OH centennial from a few years back. Such a solid beer.

or you could just crush a bunch of two hearted. A beer that although has national acclaim is criminally underrated compared to NE IPAs.

Half and half two hearted with ACE? Can we get some funky cuvees in here to break up the COVID 19 dreariness?

Two Hearted is literally my favorite beer ever. So yeah. Assume that I’ve never had a classic lol. Shrugs

Can’t agree more. I had some fresh two hearted recently and it was somehow even more mindblowingly delicious than I remember. I don’t know if it’s their amazing centennial crop they get, the sturdy malt backbone or the water but whatever it is...it’s such a great beer.

Matt did say they were going to focus more on the core offerings moving forward. We got Space Diamonds, Forever Simcoe, and Oh Forever last week. Predictions for this week? Hop Showers and ACE?

A friend went to OH today. Sent a pic. They’re doing what I suggested in this thread when I visited after they first went into COVID retail mode! #thethreadhasweight

Maaaaaybe not the most popular opinion on the OH thread, but there are some complaining here that OH high ABV IPAs have been getting too sweet. Drinking a Threes Beyond the Void DIPA right now and it is dry, hoppy and even a little bitter. You local Brooklyn guys might want to drink some Threes IPAs as a change of pace.

A year ago I grabbed You People, 3s all Simcoe iipa, it was excellent. They have for sale now, I probably should go for walk tomorrow and get some.

looks like DDH mo+mo and DDH broccoli is next according to IG. Glad they are just sticking with classics now instead of experiments and virtual collabs ;-)

From my conversations with Andrew, I think they know the collabs are kind of a joke but don't care because it works. I could totally see them making a virtual collab as a bit of a joke on the collabs. Also that shared collab was gone in an instant.

It's kind of a weird model in that your delivery options is, "do you want OH beer or no?" but that there isn't much freedom to pick. You get your option of the beer or two that was just brewed AND THE DREGS, or nothing and wait a week and a half to two weeks to see what is available on your next turn.
