I mean, I like all 4 of those beers. I'd buy that. I'd prefer to see a couple one-offs in there. But those are all solid beers that I very much enjoy. If the 'bulk' buys nets a bit of savings, I'm in.

Speaking of SN, I have not heard anything from them about this current crisis and how they are doing overall. Would be interesting to hear how they are weathering this storm @SierraTerence

Regarding COVID-19, perhaps the repackaging of the sampler pack is a direct result of scaling back.

In other words, it's all just a Simple Twist of Fate. Well, if it were Up to Me I'd like some Shelter From the Storm of IPAs that we're getting bombarded with in these sampler packs.

Anything other than an IPA in these sampler packs will be a slow train comin.

Excellent "up to me" pull, btw. Very underrated song.

For like $25, I couldn’t pass on this..
Tropical Torpedo is great, as are hop bullet and regular torpedo.

3 weight is rather meh, but I’m certain someone will like it.

For real?? I saw this for $16.99 where I'm at. I agree with the 3 weight.

I'd rather pick up a 12 pack of SNPA or Torpedo cans for less than $18.99.

$25 for a case of SN beers isn't a pretty good deal, it's a great deal! In PA we are lucky to pay $20 after tax for a 12 pack of SNPA. Looked at a store in Harrisburg who posts their prices online and a 12 pack of SNPA cans is $21.19 after tax.

Yup and a six pack is around $12.

No idea why SN is so much more in PA

They would be my go to all year if I could get all thecore and seasonal at $15 a 12. Done with driving to DE so those prices are gone to me.

    Enjoy

It sucks, but I’m nearly in the same boat as you. I looked forward to all the mixed packs and would buy every new one I saw. Now I just buy a 12 pack or so of Oktoberfest and Celebration (I bought a sixtel of Celebration this past November) and MAYBE a 6 pack of Pale Ale a couple times a year. Like I said, it sucks.

I'm another long time SN fan that hasn't bought much besides Celebration and Oktoberfest since the end of the seasonal packs and the move to all haze everything. I like PA and Torpedo but I'd prefer to get a few of them in a mix pack along with some unique styles. They don't seem to do that anymore. I'd buy Porter, Stout and Kellerweis but we know how rare those beers are.

I've been working near a grocery store that carries the porter and the stout. I had forgotten how much I loved the stout. The porter was nice too but I just went back yesterday for another 6 pack of the stout. Can't believe that it would move.slow in sp any market.

Totally agree, the Stout is killer and I am shocked that its demand is so low as to remove it from most markets. When I see a pack I always grab it buts its a rare things to see these days.

I'm getting it about 2 hours from chico. Is anyone seeing it further from the mothership?

Arizona is dry, maybe a few packs float around but I have not seen it anymore and it used to be everywhere. From the feedback I see a lot of other states are in the same boat. Its sad since the beer is beyond good. I get every IPA they sell without issue but was told AZ demand is gone for stouts. This is odd since stouts sell here like hotcakes, not sure why their stout is not.

How close are you to Michigan? Come up and get six of Founders Red’s Rye IPA in cans.

Thanks for the advice! I am close and just might have to cross the border this weekend for some Red's Rye. I would consider that essential travel.

I'm a bit amazed at people in this thread who seem to be claiming they've "always" bought SN variety packs as their primary SN purchase. I still think of them as a relatively "new" package from Sierra Nevada - nearest I can find, they only began mass marketing of 12-packs of 3 or more different beers around 2014. (I guess "always" works if you've only been drinking SN since around that time or later, tho', huh?)

SN Stout is still stocked by a few retailers I frequent in central NJ (mostly via Kramer). The last SN Porter I found was at the NC brewery, however. Previous to that, I'd find it in NJ maybe ~2 years ago but it was often many months past SN's suggested pull date.
