A precision; I used to find it online on a beer web shop, sadly not on our shelves (only SNPA and IPA Hop Hunter).

While I like their Porter, Sierra Nevada Stout is getting to be one-of-a-kind these days. Hoppy American stouts aren't very common and SN has dialed back distribution of theirs. While you can find SNPA, Torpedo, and Hazy Little Thing almost anywhere, the Stout doesn't see distro in 1/2 the country. I miss it.

    Summit EPA.

An excellent pale ale. Superior to SNPA in my opinion.

Alright so based off of my rDev, I'd say:
Neshaminy Creek Churchville Lager (I haven't had this in 5 years, so YMMV)
    Ardent Pilsner (Love this beer)
    Oxbow Grizacca (Love this beer)

Others I'd randomly throw out there, the low abv stuff from Allagash like Little Brett, River Trip, etc. RĂªve from Parish is really great. The sour program from Jack's Abby/Springdale is unheralded but they make very drinkable stuff (i.e. not too harsh and acidic). Always gotta tout Ipswich Oatmeal Stout.

Mikkeller / Anchorage Invasion IPA. It is one of the most pure, Brett explosions, and the hop presence remains after years. It's one of my favorite beers of all time.

I would say that any lager had in the way it is expected to be drank in it's home area.
I was in Japan for a couple of weeks this past summer, and was blown away by how much I loved drinking Japanese lagers in the bars and restaurants, and to a lesser extent the cans from grocery stores and vending machines. If you've only ever had the cans/bottles in the US, it really isn't the same. The freshness isn't there. The kegs over there seem to only be about 10 liters (compared to the standard sixtel in the US, which is ~19L, or half barrel, which is ~57L), so it's a quick turnover. "Nama Birru" (translation: "fresh beer" meaning draft beer, typically the one beer on draft there) tends to taste super fresh and refreshing, and pairs well with the majority of the salty food you get in a bar setting.
I can imagine having a helles in a beer hall in Bavaria, or a Tmave Pivo in Prague would give a similar experience.
Cask ale has always been a favorite of mine, and it's the same thing. Brewpubs that have a cask program set up, or bars that are about moving cask beers from small breweries that have a good cask program in place have long been a favorite of mine.
Anyhow, freshness doesn't just matter for IPAs, and being in a friendly setting where beer is just a part of the experience makes a huge difference.

Pacifico, no lime, drink from the bottle. You're welcome

Orion beer from Okinawa. "For Your Happy Time" as the bottlecap proclaims. Such a great beer.

I'll throw Hite in there too. Nice Korean adjunct lager.

Pacifico is so under-appreciated. I raise you:

Carta Blanca, with a Sonoran hot dog and/or carne asada taco in the heat of the desert.

    ....I miss AZ :frowning2:

Sierra Nevada Torpedo. It's a damn solid west coast IPA i can usually pick up for about $13.99 a 12 pack. It may not be glamorous, but it's a damn solid beer, and probably the best bang for the buck in America.

I have no idea why I always forget about this beer, but yes. It's amazing. And back in the day Anchor was 1 of the breweries that damn near gave out unlimited samples on the tour, so I have deep love for them. Even though this is the only 1 of their beers that I really like.

Well, with my lack of experience, I could hit the category with just about anything! But the one I'd like to find again is Greenbush's Distorter...
