Enjoying my latest brew. Nice pour and carbonation but the bubbles are square! Not the nice round ones I am used to. They rise at the same rate, spin on the way up, and the mouthfeel seems a little sharper. Probably from the edges? All other characteristics are good. Puzzling to say the least.
Same here. Upon looking more closely some of the ones I've seen join in pairs and have kind of a bow tie shape.
I think a meteorologist would tell you that the deep low pressure system that is currently over New Jersey has kept the bubbles from having enough inside pressure to expand the surface enough to smooth out the corners. It happens all the time. RDWHAHB.
Thanks to all who replied and for the laughs. Square bubble issue Solved. My brew knew it was April 1. Happy and safe brewing to everyone. RDWHAHB
