Haven't checked your math but FPM is selling cases of stovepipes for $50. :heavymetal:

    Well...

    24 x 19.2 oz. = 460.8 oz.

    460.8/16 = 28.8 pounders

    $49/28.8 = $1.70 per can

    $1.70 x 4 = $6.81

$6.81 = way better than $20 four packs of New England IPAs

Incredible value, great beer. I think Tony runs the best beer program in the city.

That's even a better value than what I paid for my keg of Fiddle Head, which itself was a great deal. According to my math I am paying just over $2 per 16 oz of beer. The cost of a quarter keg of Fiddlehead is roughly equivalent to the cost of most sixth barrel kegs of local IPA's (in the same range of quality).

I had never had fiddlehead IPA and saw the can drop and picked up 2 cans--after having my first, I immediately went and got 8 more cans. Almost the perfect IPA--light, slightly hazy, and extremely crushable. Hope these cans stick around for a while in MA

Nope. He said four pack of pounders—going off the price per oz to find how much it would cost for four 16 oz cans. A four pack of stove pipes is $8.33 if the case costs $50.

That’s cheaper than they are in Vt, $4 each at the brewery(proceeds go to those who lost jobs so a worthy cause) and somewhere Around $2.75 each in stores

I got my 4pk of stovepipes for $10 at Julio's. They didn't have a case discount as far as I can tell. Still one of the best value NEIPAs out there.

Fiddlehead IPA hits so many notes for me. One thing I always look forward to when going snowboarding in VT is having that. I was hoping somebody would do a trade on IG with me but no bite.

There's something about this particular beer that hits all of my senses.

I paid $11 and change for 4 cans yesterday. Still an incredible deal. Sadly, I don't anticipate that they keep pumping those out to stores.

Grabbed a case at FPM yesterday - canned 3/25 - thanks for the heads up!

I prefer this IPA to most anything outside of HF or Alchemist and that's without taking cost into account. Feels like stealing once you do that.

Sounds like you got ripped off.

Hmm, slightly hazy? This one poured out a typical New England IPA opaque for me. Same as on draft.

Two weeks ago I picked up a can at Redstone in Stoneham. They were in the fridge at the front where they keep the 40s.

Correct. And I was also using the original case price posted on here of $49, not that that would really make a huge difference compared to $50.

Nice, good to know there's a 3/17 batch and now a 3/25 batch. Maybe they will keep doing it...

I thought I got a steal at $12 a 4 pack, looks like I overpaid according to this thread.

At $12 for 4 it is still a deal in my eyes. Considering most good IPA’s run about $15 for 4 16oz cans.

I know what I’m drinking tonight now.
