Looks like Vector Point was delayed a week. So I’m guessing we have that and Orange Chantilly next week

 

You mean you’ve been buying more beer than ever the last few weeks cause you had no idea you’d end up quarantined with a wife and bunch of maniacs, right?

 

For anyone with kegerator, beer on the walk in park ridge has 1/6 barrels of symphonic view and contoured flight for curbside pickup. They also have ribbit, mirrorball and swans of lir if you want HB. Other goodies too

 

Made it 17 days without beer...but after a rough week, I broke last night.

I had Curvature Batch 5 (the S'Mores one). I got an email from P3 that there were reports of gushers, but they were all from bottles that weren't refrigerated. Mine was refrigerated since I brought it home, and I had no issues on that front.

The beer was phenomenal...a real treat. It had that incredible mouthfeel that Shaun's stouts always seem to have, with a nice melange of vanilla, chocolate & graham cracker that avoided being cloying. A dessert treat.

I took the whole bottle to the dome (since we can't, like, see people now) and after no beer for a couple weeks, I was nice n' toasty. I slept quite well.

 

Split a bottle of Neapolitan Quills with a buddy yesterday and damn was that a delicious beer. Loved the strawberry flavor as it wasn't overpowering and the smell reminded me of a strawberry wafer. I have another one I'm going to hold onto until the fall, but if you have one and have been thinking of opening it I'd say go for it.

 

Shit, just remembered I have a bottle of this waiting for me in Lake Zurich! Seems like a long time ago...

 

Quills is a brewery only release right? Would love to try it but no way am I driving out to Lake Zurich anytime soon.

I wouldn’t say there’s a clear pattern but they’ve been roughly spaced at 4-6 weeks with the last one on March 11. So hopefully another one soon!

 

I just drank my last Hazelnut Pressed over the weekend. If it is possible for me to like a stout/porter more, I'm not sure I could. Just amazing...

 

Yeah hazelnut was absolutely delicious. I wonder what the next one will be. They haven't done a coconut yet have they?

 

not yet. Shaun did a coconut & cinnamon Falling Colors at More so it’s very possible

Along with more pressed, hoping to hear some news of the first BA Curvature released at some point this month. Initially P3 communicated that the first BA offering would be released in March or April not sure if that has gotten delayed or not.

 

yeah the consensus in the Facebook thread seemed to be holding off on the release until there could be an in person party/release. Obviously that could change...

 

Maybe the taproom will be open by then as well.
