Really nice video interview with Sam on their shift from beer/spirits to hand sanitizer. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/04/08/opinion/dogfish-head-hand-sanitizer-coronavirus.html
I’m not seeing the price in the article.. Really cool that places are doing this kinda thing.. Weldwerks in Colorado has partnered with a Wyoming distillery to do something similar. On the other hand, Wilbur’s liquor store in Fort Collins is selling bottles for $12/each and feeling good gouging people... hopefully we continue to see stories like the former.
San Tan Brewing and OHSO in Arizona are making hand sanitizer. There may be others but I just saw both of these guys on news.
Cortland Beer Co & Chateau Dusseau Winery are collaborating to produce it at the brewery. They've donated some to the Cortland PD (& others?) Prices to the public are $4/$11, for 4oz & 11oz bottles . Pre-ordered, & in-person pick-up, only. No shipping. (Why I looked. I'm not driving to Cortland for hand sanitizer. ) How's that compare to others?
Fainting Goat Distillery is making hand sanitizer just next door to South End Brewing. Fainting Goat seems to be doing well, but I really do worry about some great local breweries across the country. I wash my hands many times a day and use a good regular soap.
