Oh, they were just regular 12 oz cans, not 32 oz crowlers. But still, it was only one can shy of a full allotment from the original release!

On that note, I think Ten Year is drinking as good as it ever has. Really wish I had more than 3 cans left.

Is Thundertaker still releasing into Binnys on the 17th?

I hope they have enough blue tape for 6’ gaps to make the line stretch to Rogers Park, if it is happening.

Yellow stripe can definitely be a Type 2 error. Gotta be careful.

Rev officially cancelled the Thundertaker event on FB. Here’s to hoping they do some kind of pre-purchase curbside release. Quarantine has me running low on Deep Woods beers.

I didn’t really care for the original batch (pretty sure it wasn’t double dry hopped), but I am enjoying this batch.

I heard back on this from Rev's FB account today after asking about it via PM, since I'll be proxying Maplewood for half a dozen friends this week and also doing a Rev curbside pickup. Here's the reply I got:

    >>We've put off packaging and are giving the beer some extra time in barrels - it won't be ready for the original timeframe.<<

This is where you tell your friends before you go to pick them up you aren't feeling well and after you take all their allocations home tell them you tested positive for covid-19 and the hospital recommended you destroy the cans so they are s.o.l. then you drink them all yourself.

Seems elaborate but I may have to consider this course of action....

    35 and 40 + tax for cuvee/X respectively. Think tax is 10.25%, so $38.59 and $44.10?
