Well you fuckers can head to the back of the line and have your little AmEx circle jerk alone. I'll be bathing in BA Sapient and eating smoked yak.

So Shawn is going to puke in the smoker and you're going to eat it? Damn, you are one sick SOB.

Well, if it's a circle jerk. We certainly won't be alone .... I mean, you can join. We can use wads of cash to clean up wads of.. nevermind. So.. 12oz bottles of BA Monster huh? I'm pretty excited about being able to open a bottle of a 23% barley wine and not expect to be near blacked out by the time it's gone.

As long as the internal temp of the puke is above 140 (I know Shawn eats alot of pork), I'll go for it!

My puke will be pure BB Monster 29....so the pork should have good flavor!

I've found success with using a vaccum wine stopper. Sometimes the BBA stuff actually tastes better the second day after a little bit of oxygen has gotten to the beer. Never had any carbonation issues as long as I drank it the second day.

Make sure you don't forget your puke thermometer.

Not sure why all the hate for 750's, I would rather them than a bunch of 12oz bottles.

I plan on drinking 666 all night.

Instaread baby, I will know of that puke is ready within 2 seconds of poking it.

Why would you prefer a larger format bottle? Even if you had a few people to share, I'd be fine with 2 12's.

It's not a matter of disliking the format, it's just that with the higher gravity beers, I personally (and I know I'm not alone here) can't take down an entire bottle in one sitting without a) getting tired of the beer or b) getting too full. If given a choice of two 12's of a higher gravity pour or a large format bottle, I'd prefer the 12's, because I wouldn't have difficulty opening up a 12 oz. bottle to enjoy and finish in one sitting.

Larger format bottles are far better to share with others. Think about it this way - how many times have you looked at bottle X in your fridge/cellar on a weeknight and said to yourself, 'Damn, I wish I could open that up but there is no way I could finish it.'

my thoughts exactly.. I have a number of bombers in my fridge(s)/ cellar that I've wanted to crack open on more than 1 occasion, but can't bring myself to doing it because I either won't be able to finish it or honestly feel bad that I'm not sharing with someone else who can enjoy it with me

Considering the bottle vs. bomber debate, I'm kinda disappointed to hear they're filling pints. With that many taps, it'd be cool to have a 8 oz option.

Pints were last year. Each year things are different at 4elf.

I see your point for sure, many of time I have been in that situation and done the same. That is part why I like it, the big bottles stick around a little longer.

Sounds to me like you are just being greedy and want to drink all that beer yourself and not share with others! :stuck_out_tongue:
