My dad is retiring today after working the last 35 years with the same company. I'm drinking a Sierra Nevada Celebration in his honor. Wish I was there to celebrate with you, Dad. Here's to you!

Damn, quite an endorsement there. Once I can find it I'll be sure to pick it up. Great Lakes has never let me down.

Yeah, cider is easy. Take 5 gallons of sweet cider, add yeast, let sit, put in keg

This is a quality beer. I imagine the only reason it's so easy to find around me is that it's expensive. Anyone out there ever try aging this, or is it still a relatively new beer? I never noticed it down here until about 2 or 3 months ago.

Anyway, cheers everyone! Have a fun, relaxing weekend.

Pic is from last Wed, hence the yams and assorted Thanksgiving ingredients in the background. Might have to grab another case for Christmas

In honor of that thread from yesterday, I'm drinking a bottle of Eviltwin's Imperial Biscotti Break. Arguably the finest non-barrel aged imperial stout on shelves today. I've got 9 more bottles in my 'cellar' -- Yes, your jealousy feeds me and gives me strength.

[Picture is from Google, but it might as well be mine -- I'm using almost the exact same glass.]

Started with Maine Beer Co Zoe....remarkably better than the last one I had one in August. Drinking a Sea Hag now and perhaps my first Celebration of the season later, cheers!

Sipping on a solid DIPA from a brewery I always enjoy. My two year old has me pinned to the couch as we watch Rudolph. Cheer folks!
