- Rake: Purp Stay Inside sour ipa, Imprecise Words saison, Key Lime Pie smoothie sour, Creamsicle ipa (first beers for me from Rake!)
- Cigar City: Criminal Commission rum BA stout with banana, vanilla, cinnamon (ooh!)
- Speciation: Transpiration guava/passionfruit sour
- Angry Chair: Imperial German Chocolate Cupcake stout (hot damn!)

Earlier in the week @LloydDobler dropped a quarantine care package on me full of new ticks, new breweries, and some always welcomed old friends. Much appreciated Chris! I would say you just made the list, but you were already on it anyway...



Thanks again Chris. Packages like these carry a little more weight during times like these!

The cans all look awesome, but the bottle selection blew me away!

@LloydDobler generously hooked me up with a long time want: Alaskan Smoked Porter. (Not pictured cause it was wrapped in pages 35 and 36 of Penthouse Forum). He went a bit Savage though, with an awesome selection including a couple new ones from FFF which always gets me excited, several lagers and a bunch of other new beers and breweries. The Underberg is a nice touch that I can use to sooth my stomach next time I’m hungover.



Some very cool matching Juice Pants beer and swag from Maplewood.



Last and certainly least expected, an awesome CCR two record greatest hits set, “Chronicle.”
I love CCR but don’t have any records. How’d you know? This one is a much wanted addition to my collection. Chris, I’m speechless. First listen with a new beer definitely later tonight. Thank you.

 

I’m a little late in posting this. But @Vidblain bombed my porch with this generous box last week. I’ve had a couple of the Perennial’s (which I’m glad to revisit again) but everything else is new.

I got hit again today. I have to thank the over generous @FlintB for this beautiful hit. All new to me, and can't wait to dig in using the proper glassware.

I neglected to post to this great box from @Vidblain, so here goes.

A great selection of new beers and breweries.



A couple delicious sounding stouts from Wild Mind that were in fact great coffee beers.



And some amazing sounding bottles. Very intrigued by the Wild Mind BW, a favorite style, and the Fouquette after loving the Woah Jack. Bent Paddle is also new. And particularly the Hammerheart which was a very thoughtful inclusion after expressing my interest to Chris in their unique beers.

Had this great surprise dropped on me by @CanConPhilly and while I've already started digging in, I wanted to throw it and the blind up here!

Pours super hazy and with a very agressive head. Went for a normal pour (for me) and this got way outta hand and I had to intervene to keep it from going everywhere. Haha. Anyways. Super hazy like I said, head retention is impressive with great aroma. Once that subsided enough and I got a sip it was very tropical and thick. I'm going milkshake IPA here with lactose and wouldn't be surprised if there's nilla in there.

The reveal:



This was great and I liked it more than DDH Blazed Orange which is the most recent comparable beer I've had.
