    Going off topic here:
I feed the wild rabbits and squirrels in my yard. The rabbits are more picky than the squirrels. they don't like any food from Adli's. The rabbits will smell it and often will not even taste it. I go by what the critters signal. The rabbits want organic food. Food for thought.

I am not joking, about 1 hour ago I feed BooBoo Bunny a organic gala apple from wholefoods. he went crazy over it. ate it like he was starving. They can smell far better than a human and can smell chemicals i figure.

Thats a completely different question ... I tend to be distrustful of most things labelled "organic" since its more of a marketing term than anything.

I was at Aldis yesterday and picked-up a 6 pack of Hopping Nomad IPA. It is a session IPA with 42 IBUS and is 4.5% ABV. First time I have seen it and will give it a review in a day or so.

It is brewed in Waunakee, WI.

So is that coming from Octopi or Sun Prarie?

It does not indicate the brewery, just the location.

Also, Monterrey is a great lawnmower beer. Typical of Latino brews, a nice little malt character with very basic hop complement. Hot day calls for a Monterrey. $5.50 as opposed to $7 for a similarly priced Mexican beer. Monterrey is, I believe, Guatemalteco. I mean- Guetemalteca.

According to here it is Octopi. I grabbed some last month and really enjoyed it, old school piney IPA with a semi dry finish. I would have no problems keeping it in my fridge

I just took a minute to review this one...

A good AAL at 5.3% and $6/6 pack. I predict it will be better straight from the bottle with a lime. I'll add to my review once that happens. Lucked out a caught this six pack on the unlit "seasonal" beer bottom shelf. I would really like to speak to the person in charge of placing under shelf lighting on their mostly clear and green bottle stock.

Is it too Germanic to request that we just call it "Aldi" and not "Aldi's"?

adding an “s” to the store name is a Chicago land thing I’ve noticed. For example, they’ll say the the “jewels” for Jewel Osco.

It's an Ohio thing too. People shop at "Kroger's" not "Kroger"

Yeah, it's at least a Midwest thing. Many people here in Michigan go to Meijer's or Kroger's.
