[IMG] Anyone that has ever opened this forum up a few times has put the wrong number in. This one I wanted to love, but unmarked can and a ton of floaties does not get us started in the right direction. Moving over to New Beer Sunday to discuss. Cheers all.

It was just confusing and humorous that I managed to catch the hummingbird in mid-wing stroke.

Morning Focal. Setting the tone for the day. Given my abysmal tolerance for booze I'll be asleep by 9am, no problem.

Good day BAs! Off to a sunny start here in NW PA. Today's New Breakfast Beer (Which may be a crossover with NBS):

My local distributor has begun to carry Pipeworks, so hopefully we'll be seeing some of the good stuff eventually.

The dogs have been walked and fed, the bird feeders reloaded...time for some coffee in the backyard before it gets hot and humid - Lagunitas’ Willettized Coffee Stout aged in Rye Oak Barrels (2019):

Bottled 8/25/19. The rye whiskey is still strong as are the oak barrel notes; the coffee continues its fade. As good as this beer is, I miss Peche Mortel... Cheers Sunday morning drinkers, and have a great day y’all!

I’ve put in the wrong number, probably more than once:flushed:...it happens, it’s early in the morning and you’re drinking beer! Good to have mods like @Shanex fixing our missteps. Cheers!

Cellaring experiment, continued. This time I'll be trying something that is more amenable to cellaring than the hoppy beers of previous days. This is a Tripel with brett by De Halve Maan. I bought a 4-pack of this relatively fresh back in 2016 but I believe that it had been improperly transported or stored as it reeked of barnyard even back then. I'm not one to shy away from funky aromas but that had been revolting. So the solution? Leave the bottle for 4 years and revisit... Obviously the brett must be through the roof now but I'm just too curious. I seriously considered wearing a mask before opening this.

Actually the aroma is not too intense, even though it's not inviting at all. Smells like a barnyard with very poor hygienic standards. The apperence is murky like a NEIPA or peach juice. Yeah, that will be a no from me.

I understand the # confusion but never understood why BA went away from using the dates in these threads. Wouldn't WBAYDN 4/19/20 make a lot more sense?
On to the Beer. Cape May Crushin' It. Good but not great but not a bad way to start a Sunday. Cheers!

Interesting, my distro area has just start getting Pipeworks during the past couple weeks. We were already starting to see some of the good stuff during their very first drop. I think it is a safe guess Pipeworks is substantially expanding their distro footprint if they are expanding in two separate regions at the same time.

X-post with NBS today - finally a new one on a Sunday. Outer Range Brewing (Frisco, CO) and their In the Deep Steep DIPA, DDH Motueka. Magic shit right here. Glad to see them doing some local drops trying to survive this weird time... (note: NOT retired, rotating).

    This one was delicious. Cheers.

Been there, done that, PLENTY of times. I’m thinking it might have to do with drinking beer that early, but what the hell do I know?
