This article got me to thinking seriously about my beer purchases and my small role in keeping those I like in business through this crisis.

Drink Local is always going to be important and we need to target those in our community that we want to keep in business. That being said, there's probably going to be more beer procured for private / at-home consumption than in the recent past. Aside from your local favorite brewers, what 5 national or regional brewers with beers you can get near where you live will get your money to keep them in business?

    Sierra Nevada
    Fat Head's
    Lawson's
    Founder's
    Straub

Aside from local breweries, Sierra Nevada is the only other one I've spent money on.

I have just placed my 5th order from Hi-Wire Brewing in Asheville, NC.

Shipping is steep but the beer is worth every penny.

What 5 national or regional brewers with beers you can get near where you live will get your money to keep them in business?

I live in Chicago, so not sure if I can select city regional brewers. In the spirit of complying, I present two lists of beer I can (and actually have) purchased during the pandemic.

Regional / National (Chicago regional brewers included)
Bells, Founders, Half Acre, Revolution, 3 Sheeps

Regional / National (Chicago regional brewers excluded)
Bells, Founders, Three Floyds*, 3 Sheeps, Sierra Nevada

    * - Only brewer I haven't purchased since pre-pandemic, but my next beer purchase from a regional will be Dreadnaught.
