    Well had some regulars (Brau Corruption) a Maine LUNCH!, but cracked this open. Light airy angel food cake in a glass, well friggin done, love the toned down sweetness but big body. who knew... sessionable Belgian!!

    Eating at Mary's Pizza. Ordered a Celebration, and it came with extra bugs! Sent it back and I'm enjoying my bug-free beer. Got a Flying Mouflan waiting for me when I get home.

    settling into the evening (and weekend - FINALLY). daughter is sick so might miss zwanze tomorrow, but you can't win em all, that plus i pretty much traded away the right to go to zwanze for 2 upcoming mega tastings of moby dick proportions so we'll see. might get to bklyn for a single pour or two and then head home, depends on my daughter.

    half acre daisy cutter to start things off. got a buddy swinging by later to do some scotch tasting. we're gonna do the johnnie walker color side by side (blue, gold, green, black).

    Did they deliver that to you? Or did you have to pick it up? The BWW near me don't deliver, and forget getting a seat if there's a game on.

    It's confirmed, I'm not going back to the Russian-Chinese relations paper tonight.
    Instead I'm trying Old Numbskull for the first time.[​IMG]
    Maybe a Russian Imperial Stout would've been more apt after my paper, but the first snow of the season made me crave a barleywine.

    What's the bottling date? I recently had some that was 2 weeks old and it was fantastic. The best was 4 days old and... just wow.
