Appreciate you taking the time to explain it to us! So sounds like these beers should be separate entries on both platforms? I see people checking them in all under Helles since there is no Lager, or at least I don't see one.

Drinking the Altbier right now. Pairing very well with the homemade potato chips my wife made today. I'm gonna be fat as hell by the end of all this.

Pretty cool! I doubt Rogers Park / West Ridge makes the list, but you never know...

 

You might be in luck. They've confirmed on the FB that Old Irving is included with Irving Park.

Well I'm finally back to beer and thank goodness Kolsch has hung around. Had a can yesterday and it was a real delight!

 

Love the idea, but any consideration for us out in the burbs??

 

Lager will still be canned and available out of the taproom, but it won't hit distro soon (sorry). We're keeping Lager for our draft accounts when they reopen.

I have, I think, 5 cans of Kolsch left, and I'm already extremely angry it won't be back until June. Especially since my wife has now also become a huge fan of it.

True story: I've been trying to slowly get through some of my heavier beers despite being more in the mood for, you know, something like this KOLSCH (!!) so I decide to open my can of Apple Brandy Benthic. I tell my wife, "I'm gonna open up one of my real 'good' beers but I need you to help me with it." She says okay, so I pour AB Benthic into a glass and bring it over.

She looks at it in disgust.

"No thanks, I thought you said one of your GOOD beers!"

"I did! This is! What the hell beer did you think I meant, if my only can of this doesn't qualify?"

"I thought you meant that one yellow beer!"

"...the Kolsch I had over the weekend?"

"Uh yeah, that one."

So I bought two more 4-packs of it the "yellow beer" the next day.

I asked on IG and Kolsch will be back in cans in a month. So ration accordingly lol

 

Has anyone else thought that Lager has been taken to an even higher level of excellence over the last few batches. The cans I’m drinking now are just absolutely perfect. The malt quality is just as good as it gets. I know @Thorpe429 shares a similar opinion

There’s good beer, and then there’s Dovetail good beer! Highly recommended!
