Their Loza Farms collab IPA with Highland Park is probably the best hoppy beer I've had so far this year. Hit all the right notes.

This is normally completely true, and perhaps it's still true this year as well. However, I remember trying to find bottles for a friend back in January, and I had a devil of a time finding any. Arch Bridge, Beermongers and Belmont Station... They were all out or had decided not to obtain any this year (I think Pelican imposed a price increase this past vintage that some stores found daunting). Finally found some at John's, but they were about out as well after I made my purchase. I honestly have no idea where one should go to try to find any at present.

I’ve never actually been on the “hunt” for MOAS, I just see it around everywhere. So yeah, not really sure where I would go if I needed a bottle in a pinch. If I was desperate enough I would hit up Apex I suppose

Try New Seasons - they still had some last time I went (Progress Ridge). Of course, that was a month ago...

Are you planning to visit somewhere or investigating for trade purposes?

Was trying to gauge either. If it was something that was still sitting on a shelf, I’d have a friend in PDX try to get some for me (if safe to do so of course).

If it was something I need to post a trade for, I’d also be up for that. Just want to try it, no matter which way I have to pursue.

I haven't been there recently but Market of Choice Belmont had bottles for the longest time, both refrigerated and on their little shelf of "special" beers.

    New release beer descriptions:

    The Floue Floue
We cherish our relationship with our dear friend Cory at @sideprojectbrew and the rest of his team, and are excited each time we get to work together on a blend. We are pleased to offer another one now. As in the previous iteration, it features a blend of each of our beers, transferred after a long maturation in oak onto stone fruit in secondary oak vessels. We then each sent some of this mature beer across the country. Finally, we carefully selected and blended from the available stock of the best and most complimentary barrels in each of our respective breweries; to both meet and embellish the character of the other.
It's delightful and ready. You'll enjoy.

    The Maison
A new blend of one of our favorite beers. Blended from one, two and three year old barrels of spontaneously fermented beer brewed with a large portion of unmalted wheat and aged hops. A very true and delicious expression of location and intent.

    Cheers, and be well!

Weird that the instagram post has a picture of The Maison and description for Maison, but the Square site has a picture of Première Desay and this description:

Première Desay - A spontaneous farmhouse ale aged in Oak Barrels for One Year

The Instagram post was sharing two pieces of news. The first was for the new version of Maison and Floue Floue available in the taproom, and the second was the package of Floue Floue/Premiere Desay/Purple Kriek available online. I agree it was confusing to share both bits of news in the same post.

Had the same reaction when I got the email today. Some of the other stuff sounds good, but that oak aged maibock... Mmmmm....

Me, too. I’ve been making the rounds - especially with no traffic - in my own backyard: Reuben’s, Fremont, Holy Mountain, Skookum, Mirage, and Hellbent.

However, I saw that email today and intend to intercept that fine libation when the opportunity arises.

For those that care about such things, Upright is releasing their new gose, the Chanterelle Gose. Bottles at Belmont Station and the brewery. Some of us remember, and fondly, their previous White Truffle Gose, and I, for one, can't wait to try this, it should be a welcome respite from the double fruited vanilla milkshake goses that seem to pass for the style these days.

For those of you that don't care or aren't excited, let me know and I shall add you to my ignore list.

I don't particularly enjoy goses, and I'm not a big fan of mushrooms in my beer, but I do have an interest in new beers from Upright.

Does that put me on your ignore list? Maybe you can ignore me, like, on even numbered weekdays. Or Sundays. Or any day that's a prime number.

Hey, like today, the 23rd of April! That's a prime number!
