RIIP Beer Company 2020

They already deliver to HB and surrounding areas, so want to give this a bump for anyone that's relatively closeby.

 

They may just do crowlers instead. But I know they still do deliveries.

Yes!!! We are taking orders for beer delivery. Today we are only planning on servicing our immediate communities of Huntington and Sunset Beach. We are working on spreading out our delivery reach and will update as this changes.

Time for some much needed recognition and love for Ian McCall and the riip brewing team. One positive from this insanity created by Covid19 has been the outpouring of support for our small local breweries. I have doing my best to spread the love locally and a few days ago I stopped into my long time favorite riip brewing to grab some beers and catch up with Ian. I grabbed a crowler of Foggy D and the Cloud Clan and was blown away a couple nights later when we opened it up. The hop bill of Mosaic, Simcoe and HBC692 works magic in creating a super aromatic, flavorful and unbelievably pillowy soft DIPA that defies you to find the 8.9% ABV. I went back today and grabbed 2 more crowlers. This is next level stuff. Instead of sitting in front of your laptop banging on the F5 for your 0000.08 chance of getting someone else's hazies give it a break and seek out out plethora of world class gems like riip and many more.

He doesn't need delivery when he lives next door to them practically.

 

Just drove over and filled up with a lot of Stir Hazy and a few bottles of Death Ditch, that is one amazing adjunct happy stout if there ever was, but it's riip so the pastry boiz don't FOMO over it, just fine for us.

Riip has an underrated adjunct stout game. No hype but every one of those I’ve had from them have been great.

 

Are they still doing the 4 for 40? They stopped advertising it so I figured they weren’t.

 

Picking up Crowlers today. Anyone been fairly recently? Any recommendations on what I should pick up?

 

They won a medal w/ black the riiper, though I can't attest to current batch as I haven't tried it. West coast is their wheel house, I know some like hazy they make too. Most of their west coast have good turnover since their system, while it has expanded in recent years, is still relatively small. Upside of this is most things are relatively fresh. Their stouts are ok, but don't expect anything thicccc.

If you're uncertain, check @riipthis where they post the most recent tappings, so you'll know what's fresh as it is chronological.

 

Thanks! Appreciate the info. I think I worded my question poorly. I’ve been to RIIP, just not recently so was curious about the current tap list. Went with an assortment of WCIPAs on the 4 crowlers though. I’ll seen which I enjoy most over the course of this weekend

 

No hazies right now. Went 2 WCIPA(Astral and Tri clamp) the pale (GEM Hunter) and the stout that just went in yesterday.
