As i await the start of may 2020. I’m hopeful to have some taste Einbecker Ur Bock. Usually it starts to come out late mid to late April. I have not seen any in the stores. Does anyone if the Covid 19 pandemic effect this? Are we going to see Maibocks from German this year?

I'm not exactly keeping track these days, but still was fortunate to be able to get the Hofbrau last week. So some are out there.

And a good one to have in the absence of a selection.

I dearly miss St. Boisterous by Victory.

Not that it helps the OP much, but they’re still in German beer stores, things don’t seem any different to other years.

My local Total Wine had this year's Hofbrauhaus Maibock, but no Einbecker in sight.

I hate how some places can get some stuff and others cannot. I live in Wa and can't get half of what I can get in Oregon. I get Einbecker Mai Ur Bock year round down there.

Can't "get" it or just can't find it, because no local distributor and/or retailer stocks it? The Importer, B. United, lists a "CA, OR, WA" District manager, with phone number and email address. He might be able to help you.

Man, I hit the jackpot last year! A local place was selling off a ton of HB Maibock on clearence for like $4 a six pack. I stocked up! I still have probably 10 bottles left. They aged well, I must say.

I find it very odd that they have a District Manager for LA, NYC, and MN. I wonder how that works.

Telephones & email plus earning lots of frequent flier miles? I guess you could always email him or call - if he's in, otherwise leave a message

Big sale locations? You know that pretty well.

Similar here in NY, but at 6.99. I contemplated doing what you did but figured the taste would fall off. Glad to hear they held up. I may do the same this year, because the Maibocks always sit on the shelf.

My question is why MN is included with those two. I doubt sales in MN are that good for a lot of their brands. B. United stuff (German brands in particular) has seemingly been limited to the smaller boutique stores and has largely disappeared from the shelves at bigger spots.

You sure they don't sell a lot in MN? It always seems like you guys are a German import hot spot.

Be interesting to hear what you may find out.

There are several German maibocks available around here, sadly Hofbrau is the only one released in 2020.

I would be extremely surprised if they did. Again, only at boutique places can I find much of their brands. For example, Schneider Weisse is largely non-existent at most places, including the bigger stores. Only at a few boutique places is it available.

I bet Illinois and Wisconsin sell more than MN

Hard to find the B. United stuff here in the 'burbs -- and just like there, I can't remember the last fresh Schneider I've seen.
