Hey @KrajDoesBeer - you leave us for Ohio?

What’s the story on Forbidden Root’s plans for 2020? My Drynuary is coming to a close and I need something to look forward to!

You should consider skipping Drynuary and try Octsober.

Just cracked a month old Snoochie Boochies and it’s way off. Weirdly malt forward and the carbonation seems almost akin to a nitro. First can from the four pack so hopefully it’s just this one. Packaged on 03192020

Forbidden what? Are they still a thing? I thought they were more worried about selling beer to Ohio.

Shocking that Ale Asylum wouldn't nail a NE IPA.

Are they contract brewing or something?

How quickly things change. I don't think it was even two years ago when the near consensus was the Forbidden Root and Corridor were head and shoulder above rest of the Chicagoland for New England IPA style offerings.

Now I ask myself if they even brew that style anymore. Just haven't heard much of anything being released that's garnering much praise.

Yep. The two I have had were OK, I didn't go for the Snoochies from them yet, but I can't imagine it would be the same. At 16 dollars a 4pack I see me my buying these..never, so I will trust your opinions. "Small Talk" was pleasant enough, a cool hop combination.
