    Good day to all advocates,

Had to run errands today instead of tomorrow because in socialist Europe  May, 1st is a bank holiday... Bought a couple beers which will hopefully be enough until the weekend.

Guinness West Indies Porter for a start...

    Cheers.

Have a good Thursday. I fell asleep early last night around 7 PM after eating a big 2 lb eye of round roast, that was amazing. I was up over 24 hrs at that point any way. Finished up an assassination mission in borderlands when I woke up at 3AM. I only had 1 person to kill left out of 4. Ended up getting 2 more really powerful sniper rifles, and some nice elemental assault rifles. I am currently going through my arsenal to sell off weak guns, and get a better well rounded lineup. I got a bunch of eridium over the last couple missions, so I upgraded my backpack, Assault, and Sniper capacity. A sniper with a fire elemental has been my main work horse, but I just got an even stronger one after the last mission. About 40 hit points higher damage.

Great Notion Juice Jr. Excellent NEIPA. Great rocky head retention/foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine hops; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light biscuit/toasted malts; and herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; balanced creamy/bready/grainy malts, sticky hops, and some resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing resin dryness, no hop astringency. Nicely smooth/soft, minimal warming 6%. Awesome Mosaic showcase. Super juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a great clean wheat/oat/malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. No complaints. Loved the hop profile as expected.

Been a while since I listened to this album, going to give it a few full spins while I play games.

[IMG] Good morning all, been tossing and turning since 5am. Working my part time job later as a crazy beer geek and I am pretty good at it. I wish it didn’t mess up some of hanging with the family, but I will get my fill homeschooling this morning. Cheers all and this is LeRoy the second Employee of the month and he will be heading down to PA soon for a swap with @TheIPAHunter .

Good day BAS! Well, it's rainy hard which makes it a typical summer day here in NW PA. I finished debarking my apple logs yesterday and made the first cut and, on some, the final cut to prepare them for smoking. Since today is Thursday, it's laundry day - the first load is in the washer and the white stuff is marinating - I should be done by noon.
Got an email from Craftshack yesterday - my order from 13 days ago is finally ready to ship. That means the IPAs are just that much older. I know - first world problems.
Today's Cleaning Out the Reefer Breakfast Beer, from 7/17/19:

I'd forgotten all about this - it was buried in a drawer with cans of WOOT. Quite tasty - think I'll have another.

Well in the states, socialism is confined to billionaires, professional sports owners, large corporations, hedge funds and private equity firms. All others must fend for themselves. :sunglasses:

Trying to stick to one pour a day until I reach my slim high school weight hopefully in June or July if I stay disciplined. While I think New Glarus produces great fruit beers and Central Waters produces very good thin bodied stouts, my favorite Wisconsin brewer over multiple styles is loved by @scream and I and many others. Wisconsin brewer 3 Sheeps does a great job producing good to great beers over many different styles. Had the fortune of visiting their brewery last August, which I plan to replicate annually.

Today’s pour is a silky smooth rich chocolate and creamy full bodied stout, Cashmere Hammer. It takes much self control at times to stop at one pour. I turn to Marcus Aurelius to remain stoic in times like these.

Have a great Beer Thursday and cheers to better days in May and beyond!

Ascension Fifth Stop. Awesome Hazy APA. Opaquely hazy green. Nice fluffy head retention/spotty foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine hops; with moderate wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light toasted malts; and herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, and fairly sticky/resinous/rindy mouthfeel. Lightly increasing resin dryness; no hop astringency. Very smooth/soft, minimal warming 6% or lingering hop burn after the finish. Awesome Citra showcase. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a nice sized wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. Loved it. Ascension really has their haze game in the right ballpark.

Going straight through the discography. Not sure why I never gamed and listened to music at the same time, but it's amazing. Just turn on the subtitles for the game story.

Good morning, BA's, and a blueberry muffin to you all! This is Blueberry Muffin, a hefeweizen from Second State in Cedar Falls, Iowa. I love it when a brewer keeps his promises. This is straight-up blueberry muffin. Not blueberry, but blueberry muffin. Fresh, "right out of the oven" blueberry muffin. I'm trying to break the all-time record for the number of times the word "blueberry" appears in a single post. I can't help it, though. There's just something special about a blueberry muffin hefeweizen. Don't you blueberry fans agree?

Too bad it's not brewed with locally-sourced blueberries. Or maybe it is. I'm not sure.

Going with another local-ish beer today, New Image Coriolis Effect IPA. Hittin the spot.
Might take a day otherwise - and switch over to some (n/a) seltzer for the rest of it - need a break. Cheers - be well.
