    Speaking of idiots ...

And if you went out to this place to “protest” and grab a beer and lunch today, you are the problem right along with the owner.

He’s lost his liquor license, it appears. Good. Unfortunately he will probably be Fox News’s Patriots of the Week or some shit tomorrow.

Remember when America was like, "So what if China has it, nobody here has it". That is what this guy sounds like. How did that work out?

    Rock. Flag. Eagle.

Tough to see an Always Sunny parody gag in real life. It's still a joke, but not in a ha-ha way.

When I used to frequent Sunday River for skiing in the mid/late 00’s, loved stopping @ Sunday River Brew Co for beers & burgers both pre (on Friday night) & post/apre on Saturdays. House beers were good, not great at the time & the burgers were delicious, top notch actually.

Heard it sold in the 2015 era to the charming person who’s guiding its course into oblivion today. Many longtime SR skiers have avoided this place for years I’ve heard.

Lots of red hats in the line & dining room per the photos.

Actually despite removing kegs and not serving beer specifically so they wouldn't get the liquor license pulled, it still happened lol. Guess it turns out if you show this type of judgment to put your patrons at risk the authorities don't care much for you holding ANY license.

The health license was pulled. Without a health license, you can't have a liquor license.

There's a GoFundMe set up to help support the owner's defense fund and to help him sue the Governor. Almost $100K donated so far. Unbelievable.

It was all a set up from the beginning. Allegedly the guy is friends with Tucker Carlson. If this is true, it'd be hard to convince me this wasn't some Fox News stunt BS knowing he'd get sympathy from dumb people and money from other dumb people. Putting people's health at risk to own the libs. You got us this time, Republicans.

Tucker Carlson has a home in Locke Mills or Bryant Pond on Rte 26, about 15 miles away. Of course this crackpot and TC know each other. Remember this is the state that elected Paul LePage as Governor, twice. They deserve what they get up there. What a shithole.

Apparently this numbskull opened again on Tuesday - health and liquor license be damned. Of course he got his desired media coverage trying to portray himself as a martyr. He plans to open again soon - hopefully there will be some police officers there next time to shut it down.

He's been open this whole time and no one cares. The whole state except southern Maine is opening back up on Monday now after originally saying July 1st at the earliest. Hate to say it, but looks like this PR stunt might've worked.

Man, can the bad guys lose just once? The villains have been coming out on top going on four years. Needs to change.

That’s not correct. 12 of the 16 counties are “open” with Portland, Lewiston, and Bangor still closed. As someone who lives in the Bangor area I never realized I live in southern Maine.

A social experiment, and humanity failed. Although I still would like to know how long the numbers at his restaurant stay high. Anyone including our leaders can say "ok we're open now" but if not enough people are confident then businesses are going to lose money opening too early.
