Finally tried Unraveled and could see this being a regular in my fridge. Nothing about it wowed me but was just a really solid, well rounded beer. Also seeing 15 packs of Pilsner showing up around here. Was not a big fan of PC Pils so I'm glad they changed up the recipe.

To me Unraveled is the perfect clone to Lagunitas Born Yesterday but I found out it falls fast after a month or so.

@Giantspace I just had the Workhorse Margarita and it's delicious, highly recommend. Very flavorful and drinks bigger than its 4.9%. I would definitely drink it again.

    You would probably dig it:

    Margarita (Key Lime Gose) -

This kettle-soured Gose is loaded with complex flavors and aromas. Citrus notes from the addition of key limes during fermentation blend effortlessly with the subtle tartness of the Gose. A hefty dose of sea salt in the wort kettle adds a layer of brininess to round out this margarita-inspired beer.

Anyone try an FIS recently? Shopped at a local place for an NEIPA release and saw a nice stack of FIS near the registers. Since I missed it last fall (too many other stout purchases), I picked up a four pack.

Opened the first one straight out of a cool basement (perfect stout temp for my tastes) and half the bottle gushed out. Second bottle, same result. Taste is fine and carbonation seems as expected for the remainder that made it to the glass. Might try to refrigerate the next two before trying to open them. Surprised this happened after about 6 months, and that the taste hasn’t soured.

Have you tried Solid Gold lager? I'm a fan and I've seen 15 packs for $12.99 around here.

I haven't had one for a couple months, and it tasted great then. I bought mine in February from last fall's batch so I may need to drink another to see what is happening. Thanks for the heads up.

I've been drinking them regularly, just picked up 3 more two weeks ago and drank one then with no issue. I think they're all from the September bottling and of the 6 or so I've drank this year I've had no issues

Just picked up another 4-pack of CBS and it is still excellent. A World Class beer IMO.

I stopped in at my favorite beer store yesterday and discovered 3 cases of Curmudgeon's Better Half - 2018. I didn't see any release notice on this, and Founders must consider it as one of the TBD beers in the 2020 release schedule. I never had the opportunity to have this beer in 2018, so now I'm fortunate to have a 'pre-aged' BBA beer to enjoy. $17 per 4-pack of bottles. Take a peek at your store to see if you might have some too.

I saw a few cases of Better Half as well.
Also, saw CBS in 2 stores (6-10 cases each that I could see).

I'm not so sure that 2018 Better Half would be one of the TBD beers for 2020. A lot of 2018 Better Half sat on shelves when it was released. It just didn't sell. I had a local bottle shop with 8 taps selling growler fills of Better Half for $7. What you found may simply be excess supply from 2018 that was finally rereleased now that some time has passed.
