I'm wondering if anyone else has tried some of the initial offerings from Ashton Brewing in the old Demented space? My wife and I have tried a few(SimSim, Aura, Dutch, El Cobre, and Velvet Elvis) and I felt like they were pretty decent for coming out of the gate without being able to open the taproom yet. Thoughts?

Had a growler of Billy 2 Hats, their English Mild/Brown Ale. It was good but a little thin. Also picked up a crowler of Red Baron, an Altbier. Will probably have that tonight actually so I'll report back. I can't imagine trying to open a business during the shutdown.

Report back. I live very close and I’ve been toying with the idea of picking stuff up when my beer fridge supply starts dwindling.

Had the Altbier last night. Decent, enjoyed it more than the English Brown Ale. Very clean and easy to drink.

Enjoying Your Lips Are Juicy DIPA as we speak. An easy drinking double imo.

I got a crowler of Billy Two Hands and Velvet Elvis their first weekend. Both are tasty beers, I'd get more beers from them in the future.

Picked up a couple things from them today for the first time. So far tried their Belgian Wit, Aura, and an Ipa Your Lips are Juicy.

Nothing super amazing or hype worthy, In my opinion. But both very solid offerings. Would def try more from them in the future.

Gotta feel for any place opening up in the midst of this madness.

Anyone try the Jersey Dreamin' Czech Pils they just canned? Almost went out to grab some the other day but at $16 per 6 pk 12 oz cans I kind of want to hear about it first.

I got stuff today for the first time. I had a can of the pils. Thought it was solid- agree that it’s pricey though.

I picked up Jersey Dreamin and think it is a fantastic pilsner, but agree on the price point.

Anyone been lately? Normally I pull the trigger but the pricing has me curious about prior experiences. It seems that sentiment was raised above too.

I’ll probably grab something regardless to try it out.

I’ve had a few things from there. However I haven’t had anything since the summer again because of the pricing for what you’re getting. They do a lot of different styles though which I like. From Instagram it looks like they have the same Brewer that worked at demented. That makes me wonder if there’s any connection between them and the original Brewery. Sorry for any random caps because I’m voice texting.

I likes the Altbier and Your Lips Are Juicy Double IPA is a very sold interpretation of the style with a real nice blend of hops and malt
