    Good day advocates...!

Starting the thread with The Bruery, and a banana bread from the Golden State, very special beer and my 400th beer rated/ticked here. More thought in the second post of NBS:

Have a good Sunday. I slept until 11 PM and I've been Playing Battlefront 2 all night. Completely outstanding game, no reason for me to ever play the 2005 one ever again. Great story line. Currently in the original trilogy timeframe, but apparently also has the prequels and sequels included eventually. The controls are worlds far more improved too. Seriously I don't understand all the hate for EA. They know how to make really great well rounded games and franchises.

Fremont Golden Pilsner. Excellent Bohemian Pilsner. Nice fluffy head retention/spotty soapy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big lemon, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, wood, peppercorn, and herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness. Moderate herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation, light-medium body, and moderately crisp/clean finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malts, and sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Moderate increasing bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Very flavorful/refreshing, not watery for 4.5%. Perfectly clean lager flavors, no fruity/yeasty notes. Perfectly balanced clean pils/wheat malt showcase and earthy saaz hops. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp dryness. Spot on style, really big fan as expected of the brewery. 4.05

    NBS X-Post

Have a good NBS. I haven't been reviewing much new beer as I do not have much left. Just been playing video games and sleeping all week. 80% of the time. I hope the life returns to normal soon and I can quickly find some employment. I understand the requirements for the precautions and all, but I am not getting anything even unemployment benefits. Fuck the state system. As always, there has been some offense taken about me in the way I do all my reviews; but I have been doing them the same way for a long time, and have no intention of deviating from how my mind steps through the process of giving a proper analysis. So F all those guys. :+1:

Energy City Milkshake Orangealicious. Fantastic NEDIPA. Opaquely hazy. Great fluffy head retention/foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate vanilla, cream, wheat, white bread dough sweetness; and herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness. Mild pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, grassy bitterness; and orange tang/tartness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; very creamy/silky/bready malts, light sticky hops, resins, acids, tang in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter/tangy dryness; no cloying/astringent flavors. Dangerously smooth/soft. Zero warming 8.5%. Fantastic juicy/vibrant Citra hops/oranges with light dank/earthy notes; with a nice lactose and wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. Completely on point, exceeded expectations. 4.25

Good day BAs! Another cool, post-rain morning on another wasted weekend. Today's Cleaning the Reefer Breakfast Beer is one that's been hiding for eight months:

I'm not sure why anyone would take offense to something that's so thoughtfully done. I hope everything works out for you, sir. :beers:

Happy Sunday BA's, hope everyone can enjoy some time outside today. Couple hours of work done and the chores have begun. Caribbean Chocolate Cake, a colab between Cigar City and Siren Craft Brew. Still pretty cold but the chocolate taste is barging thru.

Today is Spiteful day, related to beer, not temperament.

Spiteful IPA with Tangerine is an excellent offering. First pick up on the first day things were "closed", canned March 17, still strong, fresh and awesome. Fresh tangerine and hops flavor, nice measured bitterness, balanced, glad I have a few more in reserve.

After I finish this, I have a Spiteful Session IPA for NBS!

Hope all of you have a beer filled Sunday!!!

Frangelic Mountain Brown; it has your typical Founders « vibe » or « feel » to it. Much excellent too... haven’t had anything (new) from them in a bit.

My NBS selection for today, and second and last pour for Sunday afternoon. Going for a long walk, then will take care of some domestic duties. Will be checking back throughout the day for inspiration, beer ideas, fun and beer fellowship while listening to great jazz, with my favorite shows throughout the day.

    Cheers All!!!
