Have a good Monday. Been playing Fable for 2-3 hours. Installed GTA San Andreas I had sitting on my external hard drive. Also saw a Sale on GOG games for Eidos titles, so I got Thief 1-3 and a couple of the Deus Ex games for under $7 total. I now get to have a separate game launcher on my PC. Not that it matters as I have 16GB ram. Steam, Epic, GOG, Origin, and Blizzard are the ones in my system tray. Anyways, Fable has been really great so far, and will keep me busy for a while. The controls are awesome. Need to work on my battle technique though; and above all else level up.

Anchorage Catalyst. Awesome hoppy kolsch. Lasting fluffy head retention/foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, red apple, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine hops; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light biscuit/toasted malts; herbal, floral, grassy hops and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation, medium body, and fairly crisp/clean finishing. Balanced creamy/bready/grainy malts, sticky hops, and light resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing bitter dryness, no hp astringency. Very smooth, refreshing, zero warming 5%. Awesome Citra, Galaxy, Motueka profile. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a great clean pale/wheat malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp dryness. Loved it.

Dark Horse and I am pleading the 5th... until I get to speak to my lawyer.

Excellent Impy Stout, bottled in December 2018 so with a bit over a year old is normally at its prime. Great stuff as usual from Michigan. I’ve never been let down by these stouts:

Good day BAs! Yesterday turned out to be beautiful all the way around - I even grilled for dinner! Most of the neighborhood was outside doing yard work, except for those rolling on the threshing floor. Today's starting off the same, so I'm planning a trip to my local hardware store (and beer distributor) to resupply.

@SomethingClever, sorry I didn't get back to NBS yesterday. After our little KBS deal, I was put on BA probation for selling beer. No biggie, apparently. But I agree - after drinking several cases that of year's KBS, I remained unimpressed and haven't bought any since. It still sits on the shelf around here. By the way, how was your trip to Belgium with Stu? How about an update. My son and I were scheduled to go to Bamberg this month, but that's been cancelled. We're rescheduling for next year.

Today's Cleaning Out the Reefer Breakfast Beer is pretty damn good (4.25):

Well I got the PS2 emulator to work perfectly with no problems after I found the BIOS files. Bluetooth controller setup instantly. On @TheIPAHunter recommendation, I started God Of War. Amazingly fun stuff. Plenty of other PS2 games I will have to get soon.

Woodland Empire Love Is Lies. Awesome milkshake IPA. Opaquely hazy. Lasting rocky head retention/thick foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big juicy strawberries, mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine hops; with moderate vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light toasted malts; and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and body; very creamy/bready/grainy malts, some sticky hops, and resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering resin dryless; no hop astringency. Very smooth/soft, not aggressive, minimal warming 6.1%. Awesome Loral/Mosaic profile. Very juicy/vibrant hops/fruit with some dank/earthy notes; and a nice sized vanilla, lactose, and wheat/oat/malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. Very impressive. Somebody added it as a fruit beer, and it blows my mind that it was done lol. 4.1

It will be a sunny day in Chicago, but I won't be wearing shorts today as we will barely break 50 today after a gorgeous weekend. Was glad to have completed my first "circuit" walk (10 miles) since the lockdown, primarily due to the colder temps.

I came across the most excellent beer draft/house thread, which I encourage you to check out. I didn't rate six of the twenty beer selections, but had one of the six in my refrigerator. This bottle was purchased after the Saison tasting thread based on the numerous posts giving high praise. I picked this up two weeks ago and narrowed the gap of unrated beers to five with this pour today.

This is a most excellent saison, 11.2 oz bottle, no bottled date.

Appearance: Murky orange pour, creamy white head leaves fine bubbly lacing throughout the pour, settlement at the bottom of the bottle/pour. 4.25

    Aroma:
Very funky and wild, Earthy and spicy yeast aroma, banana, grass and lemon follow. Complex, bold and quite excellent. 4.75

    Taste:
Somewhat muted compared to the aroma, but pleasant and funky. Banana, lemon, grass, citrus, edges sweet. 4.25

    Mouthfeel:
Slightly dry and bitter, light carbonation present throughout, light body, crisp clean finish. 4.5

    Overall:
An outstanding wild and funky saison! 4.5

Will stop by later for a second pour with my daily meal. Wishing you a pleasant and bountiful Beer Monday!!!

Well, first off i am a patriotic american, so all day IS MY NATIONAL DAY GOD******. That being said, i am likewise a part-time community man. Thats why i bought myself 5 trays of the PISSIEST EXPORT LAGER available on the legal market, I support the global economy. likewise, ONLY I CAN KNOCK MYSELF OUT, trust me. My hobbies include growing massive beards and scientifically measure how it loses pigment over time and consuming digestible things in general. I srink GODLY BEER, brewed by GODLY MONKS, which makes me a religious man.

Anyways, this beer i now drink is so average that i am not dissapointed, because dissapointment was beforehand anticipated.

    Cheers.

Spellbound Pale Ale. A favorite. Drinks like an English pale, haze and nose of American. Goes down so smooth I could put away a bunch of these at a time.
