3 Floyds Brewing (2020)

When it was first out, maybe it felt new school, but now that it feels old school, it seems changed, even though it's not...?

jk but seriously what do you remember it being and how does it contrast now?

 

I remember it being big time citrus forward. A grapefruit bomb. It isn’t that anymore, but still really good...just different. I didn’t take a photo tonight, but the appearance is quite different as well. Not my photo, but this is how I remember it...

 

Yeah it's not what I remember at all.

 

Too many hazy IPAs has shifted your perception of what “grapefruit bomb” is.

 

I get what you’re saying, but I don’t think that’s accurate. I don’t drink that many hazies. I’m not the only one that feels Dreadnaught has changed a bit. No matter though, it’s current iteration is great.

I'd love to see Topless Wytch in six packs! Rye Da Tyger as well. The website makes it look likely. Wigsplitter is sixpacks is great! Fantasmo really solid as well! Enjoying the Lager 16oz can series and hoping it continues. One of those French Pils would be nice. Did FFF ever do an Italian Pils?

 

I would love to see it, but what about the website, other than the perhaps the colors of the curbside pickup pages, makes you think Rye Da Tiger will be back? I would love to see it.

 

Having what looks to be a label ready and being listed under their seasonals.

 

Three new 6-pack releases in stores...Skoll, Hati, and Center Square. Drinking the Skoll now. On the edge of Pastry, but quite nice. Heavy mouthfeel like Wigsplitter, Backmasking...little bit of an Alpha Klaus feel too I suppose. Awesome to see more one-off type stuff making it into sixers.

 

Center Square is fantastic...insanely refreshing. It has just the right amount of peach.

 

Brewpub closed for good? I would be very sad. I always stopped by when I drove to MI, Indy etc

My GUESS? It's time to level it to rebuild.

 

They're probably just not comfortable opening up yet (though legal to do so). 18th Street is doing something similar with their locations, according to 18th's Instagram.

 

Finally opening in Chicago.
