Beautiful weather and ba bell, this has shit show all over it.. i bet it will be a good test to see how people social distance and react.. i enjoy the beer but can’t justify risking health for it.. good luck to all that go

100% agree, new nj.com article coming “brewery is shut down for not following gathering rules”...

enough people may stay away though with delivery and all.

 

why don't they just get on beer broadcast in the interim? it's better than eventbrite, and it would save a ton of potential line issues. sure some might miss out, but 2pp is a small allotment.

 

i personally have not used beer broadcast but have heard nothing overly complimentary about it.. also i believe the founders of source are invested in it: so i can see that not being a reason to use it..


My first assumption would have Been to do Eventbrite presale of 2-4 bottle packages with a full 2 week window of pickups any day during the week?

that would spread out and my assumption keep line down

 

I've found the beer broadcast experience to be slightly less frustrating than eventbrite... then again, i've never tried to buy an ANTEAD level beer on beerbroadcast, so that can be a huge cluster---- also. I may take a ride over there later in the day and just hope they brewed a ton and no one is lined up

 

saw pictures of pretty sizeable line at magnify earlier this week... definitely may be an issue

OTOH, since available for sale online with delivery, some people may show up only to be disappointed.

 

This is where i am with this as well. It is my delivery day but loaded up on Whitehall earlier this week and can not justify 75$ worth of beer toget 32$ worth of bottles. I just hope they made a lot and there will leftovers tomorrow and leas line. No beer is worth risking life over.

I live up north when i used to be 3 minutes away... for me it is hoping it lasts into the week and i can swing by when i head down during the week

 

Decided to give it a shot and if it was wild I just wouldn’t bother. Don’t know how much BA morning bell is left but it was only 2-3 cars with people waiting until there’s no line to walk up and purchase.

FYI for anybody thinking about making the drive but worried like I was.

 

hopeful they have a bunch and have some come delivery day to my area.. i mean hey if they still have all those other archive beers they are releasing online for delivery, one can hope! haha

 

they really don't even need to do that. Plenty of other breweries are just using square with ordering time - EG Twin Elephant. You create a limit for ordering window and you're good to go. I'm surprised they don't have a "order online, pick up at brewery option"

 

decided to give this home delivery a shot (been going to my local liquor store) very smooth process and I haven't had Kane in a while so I'm pretty excited to try these. bought the following:

-wind swell
-swim fin
-party wave
-northern hospitality
-BA morning bell
-vanilla cognac BA sunday brunch

very excited for these stouts

 

you will not be disappointed with that order at all...

 

Apologies if I'm missing it somewhere, but I don't see the protocol in anywhere obvious on Kane's Insta, the sales pages, etc... how does the pick-up from the brewery work? I'm looking at products that aren't "sold out" but they're "unavailable" for pickup at the brewery at 11am today. Do orders need to be placed by a certain time? Do you need to pick it up same day or will they hold it?

 

Unless something changed since last time I went (a month ago?) you just park and walk up to the tent. No preorders.

Ah, gotcha. Is there nowhere to determine what's available at the tent? Everything listed on the site is "Not available"... is it safe to assume that everything that's listed online is available at the brewery?

 

Their Instagram gives daily updates on what is available in the parking lot.

All of the archive bottles like ba sunday brunch or a bird to explore all shores are delivery only and you can not buy at kane. Everything else at the store should be at the tent.
