This year our maibock was brewed in our open fermenter.

 

what's taking over for Sunny Ridge in the seasonal 6-packs on distro? The graphic on pg 1 says "Ray catcher" is that still accurate? don't see it on the JA website.

 

God I hope this comes to CT. I love Maibocks but there are just none out there. Luckily for me, just yesterday I was able to find Berkshire Brewing Slue's Maibock at a random grocery store. Love that stuff, despite it not being to style.

 

Maibock Hurts Like Helles So I Had to Lay Down?

I picked up Idle Hand's Bluma, which is a damn good Helles Bock. Not sure if that helps you in CT though.

 

Ray catcher was cut because of everything going on. Instead we will be slightly extending Sunny Ridge. There will also be a limited 12 pack release of Leisure Time Lager this summer.

 

CT get Shilling? Don't mean to thread jack, but keep an eye out for their iteration as well: Should not disappoint

 

Happy to report the Keller Maibock is delicious.

Would love to see Jack’s and Notch do a collaboration lager.

 

I've been dying to drink some Notch after reading all of the great posts about them in the NE forum. If they distro'd a collaboration with Jack's Abby it might be the closest I ever come to trying their beer.

 

Throw in Silvaticus, for a MA trifecta in lager artisanship

Thanks for the suggestions, guys, but none of those beers are available in CT. Hell, I haven't even seen Genesee Bock in years.

It is a little long for a beer name but I love this and will be pitching it at some point.

 

A little late to the party but I'm really digging "Shipping out of Boston". In addition to being just generally really good, it's somehow feels especially fitting for these cool Spring nights.

Seems like a somewhat bold move to go the budget priced 12 pack route on these. I hope it pays off for them and they become a long term staple.

 

Springdale's Kviek Fix neipa is something I'd search out to scratch the hazy itch.
