My avatar is likely unknown to most, but its a reflection for my love of the abstract and surreal

"Does this beer you trade for taste better than the beer here/?"

    "No, it tastes the same."

That is the funniest, and most true, thing I have heard in awhile.

This really is insanely brilliant and it somehow becomes even funnier after a couple of beers! I lost it at "When will you drink this Beer?" "Four years from now, unless I trade it for some other beer."

    "Respect beer". "Respect beer".

Lots of lotion, a chair with an umbrella attached to it, and a great big ocean to pee in.

Oh and anyone who tells me they run back to their hotel room or house to pee is a liar. Lol, they pee in the ocean they just won’t say so.

Sixteen years here and the avatar goes with the name and has remained static. Pic is from the World Senior hockey championships in 2003.

    Consistency boys...

Dogger and doggo are affectionate words for dog that men think they can use without sounding the least bit effeminate. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ve been Gimli since Freshman year of college so it’s not gonna change any time soon. I’m 6’3”, not very good with an axe and can’t grow a proper beard to save my life (the cheeks don’t fill in). The only thing I have in common with Gimli is an interest in

Avatars are an identity and extension of yourself. The username stays the same but that pic is what most people see 1st for familiarity (like a person's face). Some members like to change their avatars for whatever reason - However, that being said, I agree and always love seeing a familiar face too!!

It makes it easier to identify users/personalities than remembering a username. Keeping the same avatar makes it easier as well. I haven't changed mine in eight years, where normally I would change mine close to once a year (but that could be my age speeding up my perception of time as well).

My old avatar was Founders Curmudgeon and though I’ll kick your ass for stepping on the lawn, I’m not really Curmudgeon like. I changed to my hunting dog, a laid back setter! My handle is a take on the old “PBR me ASAP” which is the perfect lawn mower beer! Cheers BAs
