More Brewing (2020)

This is a different Double Frooted than the previous canned release if anyone was wondering (pineapple and guava last time). Dragon fruit is interesting as it’s a very cosmetic fruit without much flavor

 

Dragon Fandango from TG is the exact same fruit profile. I'm expecting this MORE effort to be thicker in body with a higher abv. TG DF is awesome if you haven't had it, and their Cherry Fandango even better. Looking forward to the MORE effort in this Double Frooted.

The Pedigree is also top notch for haze bros.

 

Had cherry at the brewery and that stuff tasted like straight cherry jolly rancher. Not in a good way. But palates gonna palate right?

 

That's right! I got cherry pie for days! Admittedly a cherry fanatic, but am pretty picky when it comes to it in beer and hate any time it tastes artificial. Mon Cheri & More Henna Cherry Truffle? Straight trash. Dark Lord Ronaldo or Cherry Fandango? Sign. Me. UP!

Really dug the double frooted tropic, dragon be damned. Drank really well on this perfect Sunday while I smoked a brisket.

Double Frooted Tropic is damn good, just wish it had a bit more carb. Marbles Pina Colada hits what they were going for but its probably the least favorite of the Marbles I've had. Just too much, sorta syrupy, not thrilled I have 3 more cans. Lil`Space Boots is good, nails what they were going for, an enjoyable pickup.

 

Based on an IG story with a bottle getting the gold wax treatment, it would appear a Henna release is on the horizon

 

Have they done a BA Henna that wasn’t Shaun’s? I didn’t think so but wasn’t sure.

 

I know the current brewers have adjuncted Hennas that were already in barrels. So maybe this is the first start to finish Henna? Info is being posted tomorrow

 

Assuming an event brite release because of social distancing but interested to see how this goes and cant wait for the whining as well

I read it twice and it’s perhaps unclear: will you have to buy Arketype cans?

 

I'm most curious to see if the hype dies down even a little bit since the last Henna releases. I didn't try either of the last two which were released but I'd say the general reception was predominantly negative. People also grabbed them thinking they would have trade value, only for that 'valuez' to plummet once reviews and ratings started rolling in.

 

I'm not 100% sure but it seems like you will be buying tickets for each 2 pack and the bottle. So I'm reading it as seperately.

 

I grabbed pours from the last release. I enjoyed the Smores for a single pour, hated cherry truffle, and wasn't upset at all to be going home without cans.

 

I tend to doubt it since it’s a BA beer and online releases have been hot in this curbside world. This beer was on draft in November which keeps it from being “new”. But I expect it to fly

I wonder if the $25/bottle price will turn some people off.

I'm sure it will sell out but it does seem like the hype factor has left now that Shaun has moved on.
