    I didn’t think DMD had lactose. Or, am I mistaken? It’s definitely not a sweet beer imo.

    Double Mosaic Dream does not have lactose. Neither does Triple Mosaic Dream. Mosaic Daydream has lactose, as does Space Daydream. Daydream in Green has lactose. Dream in Green? That also has lactose. So does Dollar and a Dream and Dream Power. Space Daydream has lactose. Space Dream? That has lactose as well. And then there's Triple Cream, Tremendous Cream, et. al. Cream! Lactose!

    You have meddled with the primal forces of lactose, Mr. Tallerboy, and Other Half won’t have it. There is only one holistic system of lactose. One vast and immane, interwoven, interacting, multi-varied, multinational dominion of lactose. Dream lactose. Daydream lactose. Cream lactose. Crunchee lactose. You think words have meaning? You think there is truth in the Universe? There is no meaning, there is no truth. It is the inconsistent naming system of Other Half which determines the nomenclature of lactose beer. That is the natural order of things today. That is the atomic and subatomic, and galactic structure of things today. And YOU have meddled with the primal forces of nature. And you will atone.

    Am I getting through to you Mr. Tallerboy?

    I doesn't, they named that before the lactose.

    My favorite is Space Daydream, black label and 8.5%, and Space Dream, white label and 6%.

    yeah this was my thought when saw this last night exactly. Space Diamonds and DMD have always (in my mind) been the All Everything for Galaxy & Mosaic

    "All Mosaic Everything .. brewed with our hand selected Mosaic hops and a distinctly different malt bill and hopping schedule than Double Mosaic Dream. Two different and delicious approaches to brewing Mosaic beers."

    I would love it if someone well versed in OH would give the overview of what the different umbrella names mean. Someone in the Tree House thread did that and it helped explain the variations in their beers in a huge way.

    I know the information is probably out there if I did some major digging... but someone's gotta sit in his underwear and teach middle school English...

    That’s the problem. There is no logic. Broadly speaking:

    “All [Hop] Everything” = single hopped DIPA w/o lactose.
    “Double [Hop] Daydream” = single hopped DIPA w/ lactose
    “Small [Hop] Everything” = single hopped IPA w/o lactose.
    “[Hop] Daydream” = single hopped IPA w/ lactose

    but there are many, many exceptions. And that’s before you factor in Rochester which seems to work by color (and I’m color blind)

    Pretty much this. I think historically, Tree House has been a bit more open in discussing how a beer relates to another when they brew them. But OH leaves it up to more of a guessing game at times.

    I think the only exception to that is Space Daydream, which I always thought was called Double Space Daydream since it was 8.5%, but I was wrong.

    Double Mosaic Dream is the other one that throws a monkey wrench in, being the only "Dream" beer I can think of without lactose, but that was a relatively early beer that may predate their use of lactose in general and that whole naming convention.

    The Rochester Chroma series color scheme seems pretty consistent and matches the colors on the single hop BK labels.

    Lots of constant talk in the news about "new normal" etc...I have to say I hope OH continues to do some of the things they have adopted during this.

    - Keep selling majority core beers. Being able to go pick up (relatively) consistent beers like ACE, DMD, Stacks, etc. is so much better than having 5 different offerings but only one they've made before.
    - Release beer more throughout the week, instead of majority Saturday
    - Continue to limit "hype" releases to 1 or 2 4pks at a time. Help the plebs over the mules.
    - Rely less on Triples. Seems like they have not been pumping out as many of those, thankfully
    - Keep curbside pickup option to reserve beer would be great, but not sure they will want to do that because it's just more work for them

    I think for Duff Ice you throw in some vodka to give that extra kick.

    No method to the madness, they didn't plan on making an IPA a day way back when. It's all shot to fubar at this point. They started doing a color scheme with Half + Half dual hops, and Rochester took those colors for their single hop chroma IPAs.

    Purple = Galaxy
    Red = Citra
    Orange = Mosaic
    Green = Motueka
    Yellow = Nelson
    Blue = Simcoe
    Kinda think I remember White = Riwaka ?

    For awhile it felt like clouds on the label was a way to know if a beer was 'tosed, but that doesn't work either. So all you really have are bunch rules that work 4 out 5 times.

    I see no business case for keeping the website intact after the world resumes normalcy (which could be a while) but I would so greatly appreciate it.
