Have a good Wednesday. Was playing Warzone and Mortal Kombat 11 with a friend tonight. Finished up a war story on Battlefield 1 yesterday, and another Halo CE chapter last night. Downloaded the Halo 2 remastered at 11PM when it was released to steam last night. Will probably finish CE first.

Founders Green Zebra. Great gose as always. Flavors of big juicy/lightly tart watermelon, jolly ranchers, lemon, lime, green apples, berries, and sea salt; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bread malts; light lacto funk and yeast earthiness. Touch of herbal hops. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness; light yeast spiciness, fruit tang, and herbal bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; balanced grainy wheat creaminess and lactic acid in the mouthfeel; light salinity. Lightly increasing tart/tangy dryness, never puckering. Super flavorful and refreshing. Really great balance between the watermelon and fruity/lacto yeast. On the sweeter/less acidic side for the style; but still has adequate tartness. What I really love about this is the fact that the watermelon flavors don't have the usual cucumber vibe going on; but it does not feel that artificial either. Glad this is back, will be one of my main summer beers like last year.

Thanks for kicking things off @superspak , love Green Zebra like I do most Founders offerings, like the prices vs. Bells even better. Nice Pipeworks gets as far as Pennsylvania @Ozzylizard ! If they had a taproom here, I'd probably get more of their beers, but always happy when I score Pipeworks, your pour this morning among the best of their offerings.

Speaking of Michigan brewers, I am piivoting from local to a Michigan theme today to honour Stevie Wonder's Birthday! First pour, Rubaeus, it's hard to get find a more crushable pour to start the day.

I hope all of you have a most excellent and crushable beer day wherever you reside!

Lagunitas Born Yesterday. Still tasting great. Flavors of huge red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate cracker, biscuit, light honeyed malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; balanced bready/grainy malt and sticky/resinous hops in the mouthfeel. Crisp/drying finish and never astringent on bitterness. Amazing juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy balanced hop profile; with a clean pale malt backbone. Refreshingly drinkable for an IPA. Simcoe, Citra, Mosaic hops this year. Used to have Equiniox for years, but I guess they couldn't find much this year.

This beer eludes me every (other) year. I can never land one.

I read in some old post about Utopias and apparently (at least when that post was written) they were selling bottles in Canada for ~$100 which is obviously substantially less than it costs in the United States. I am really curious why that is the case.

Comes out every two years. Next is 2021. Usually shows up in November. Have your favorite beer store reserve one for you.

Oh, I'll be anxiously waiting. My favorite beer store closed as the owners retired. I'll keep tabs on it and hopefully strike gold! Enjoy yours in the meantime!

All these other threads..... man, make me return here, ready to pull out my beard-hairs. Thank Shiva for this thread. I'm really exhausted by all the uninformed, partisan, b.s. about COVID spiraling out of control. Cheers...
