Enjoying the ongoing “Lacing Pictures” thread started by @Amendm last November. But gotta agree with @HaoleBoy: lacing kinda makes me sad when the glass is empty. I prefer to revel in foam. That sexy, beguiling, sometimes rocky, sometimes fluffy, provider of aroma and taste. So as a companion thread to “Lacing Pictures”, let’s see your gorgeous foam photos. Don’t let it get to your head, lol.

I’ll start with this billowing beauty, which formed upon a bottle pour of a Corsendonk dubbel. Restrained dark fruit and spicy yeast character, surprisingly light mouthfeel for the style, and on the low end of the ABV scale for a Belgian dubbel at 6.5%. Enjoyed in the classic In de Wilderman biercafe in Amsterdam.

IMHO, @Shanex is the king of pouring beers with lots of head! Love from Raul.

Good idea for a thread, OP.

I just happen to love Belgian triple or Belgian strong pale ale which are known for producing a massive head, and nice foam.

I’ll play with a now beer then:

My favorite would be a Duvel but, alas, I don't know how to take a picture and post it.
    Sorry...................................

Brett beers always pour a rocky head with Belgians just behind. Nothing beats the tight knit cream that caps a well poured pils.

I was just taught myself. Take your picture if u have a smart phone. Go to post images.org. Upload it. Copy the “direct link”. Come back here to beer advocate. Click the mountain next to the smiley face. And paste. Cheers

Still sounds complicated but, I'll give it a try at a latter date when I'm feeling smart. I'll do it with a tablet as, because of certain convenience, I carry a flip phone. It fits in a watch pocket!
I see the mountain next to the smiley. That's one step!

For your viewing pleasure, here's a Ramstein Imperial Pilsner with its creamy head rising well above the rim of the glass.

Love the pour! At 12.5%, you're not messin' around. I'm not a stout guy, unless there is barrel aging involved, lol. Have never tried a milk stout though.

Have heard great things about Tombstone. Have passed through the town but have not had a chance to visit. Thanks for posting.
