Cracked open a second Wisconsin pour to celebrate the reopening of bars across many counties in the state. If you ever find yourself in Sheboygan, 3 Sheeps is definately worth a detour. They brew many different styles and they do a great job, including with this silky smooth nitro stout, Cashmere Hammer.

See you tomorrow with more pours.

Great beer and that's about as fresh as I ever see it - ~2 weeks. I think it's good until about the 4 month mark, then it starts to slowly decline. Good beer and nice color as well.

Yeah it has a solid backbone of amber malts that not many beers today showcase. Really old school, only other IPAs like it would be Hopdevil or 60/90 minute.

While I think that this makes for a perfectly nice IPA and an interesting showcase of US/AU Cascade hops, it's just a terrible "West Coast inspired" brew in my opinion, as it completely lacks the resinous bitterness that I expect from the style.

Some 2013 Backwoods Bastard. I'd heard much about the older vintages of this beer from the cellar reviews thread and was lucky enough to find a well aged bottle. Even out of the fridge it feels much thicker and has stronger bourbon notes than fresh. Also a decent bit of sediment at the glasses bottom, though I don't mind that at all.

I don't know what to say other than that I'm extremely thankful. Even if restrictions get lifted at some point in the future, I don't see myself rushing to be in crowded situations. I am a LARRRGE fan of curbside pick-up and home delivery. As for this beer, it's really insane. I don't know what is going on with TH at this moment, but the beers haven't been this good since Monson. Cheers!!!
