    Most Thursdays nowadays I usually try out a new Non Alcoholic beer, and today’s is Clausthaler Grapefruit. Made with 50% malt beverage and 50% grapefruit drink:

    I like! I’ve been putzing around in the yard all afternoon (gusty 90 degrees), and this beer spritzer really hits the spot.

    Lovely pink grapefruit juice color; opaque; 1 finger of fast fizzy white head; no cap retention, ring, nor lace. Grapefruit juice nose. Grapefruit drink flavor with a little malt backbone. Medium lite body, almost thin; medium carbonation, not effervescent; the malt base lends a light creaminess to the whole, so its not like drinking a spritzer. Overall this “beer” is quite tasty and refreshing; I will seek out more.

    I'm torn on this one, BA. I swear I'm picking up faint buttery notes every few sips...maybe I'm crazy, I wanted to like this a lot. Perhaps the next can will offer me some solace. cheers!

    My all-time favorite beer from Tree House because that Monson version will always have a special place for me. Yes, I've had better beers from them, but this one still knocks when it's on point. Do I need to tell you that it's on point right now? Shit, even they answered my question with their own words on the back of the last can I shared with the gf. BTW, it's her birthday today. She's getting old. 29 years of age. Peace to that!
