Yeah, I use the Top Draw and ferment in the keg. Love it.

Just received my new 15-gallon boil kettle today that will replace my 10-gallon kettle (the 10-gallon will now become my new HLT, replacing the cheaper Aluminum one I have been using).

So I have drilled and added the ball valve with pickup tube as well as cleaning the kettle and doing a boil/leak check.

Yeah that's what I figured. That would be a cool feature to have a drop down to select "in kettle/in sparge" and have it calc the total concentration like that.

Awesome I’ve been debating on whether or not to get one. Believe I will now. The Fermzilla I bought has something similar in it to transfer clear beer from the top to the keg. I like it alot

I got the variant with a filter screen. I had a streak of bad luck with keg hopping and line clogging, and so far, this seems to eliminate the issue

Yeah, with the Top Draw, I throw the dry hops in commando and I've never had a clog.

I haven't tried "commando" yet, but without the ClearBeer, pellet matter was escaping my hop bags in sufficient amount to clog the lines.

Well my brew day is ruined!! My new Anvil Foundry is acting up. Set the time to be at 153° for 8am and came out to find it still 74°. Have troubleshot everything and think the circuit board is bad. This stinks big time. Can’t get ahold of their customer service either. Just accepting emails right now dang it. Oh well so far I’m just out water I think the grains will be ok for a bit, they are milled though.

My dry hops go in commando and have had no issues at all.

That sour brown ale in the closet that I forgot about? Well, it’s starting to taste like something I want to drink. Maybe time to think about fruit. Raspberries, maybe.

Brewing the Rye Pale Ale that I didn't get to brew last weekend. 20 mins left in the book, not letting this brew get away from me another week!

Kegged my last batch before moving—an all-HBC 431 dry-hopped APA. It's fantastic after only 24 hours in the keg, so I imagine it's going to be truly stellar in a week or two.

    Dry hopping:
    Nelson Sauvin & Enigma NEIPA
    Galaxy, Citra & Mosaic NEIPA

    Brewing:
    Chinook, Centennial & Cascade IPA

This brew will be mostly rice. So much has changed recently in gluten free brewing. New enzymes and malts to play with have led to huge improvements. But, they require more experimentation with grists, mash regimes, etc

I'm trying! Every time I start to get something dialed in, a new enzyme or malt comes on the scene (that's a good thing).

This guy is really figuring it out...

That is awesome!! I have yet to purchase the stuff to brew GF and then Covid put a halt on that. Now my Anvil kettle/mash tun quit working yesterday. On brewed on it 4 times and I can’t get ahold of anyone at Anvil because once again Covid. I know I know not a real problem with all that is going on.

Bottled my hopfenweisse today, 7 days after brewing it. Tasting the dregs and it's promising

Started cold crashing the maibock. Gonna order saison 2 strain from yeast bay. I want to get a bone dry fruit bomb going for the summer.

Got a starter of WY1272 going for an American Wheat, hopped with Sabro. Should be a good summer crusher.
    OG 1.050
    40% white wheat malt
    35% Vienna
    25% 2-Row
Bitter to 30 IBU, then Sabro at FO and DH.
