    Nice list of timeless classics.

For the most part, these are very well appreciated around here. Regular purchases, even. And the few I can't get probably would be as well .

    Or define « underrated »?

I haven’t had every of those but SNPA is a regular of mine and no doubt a classic at this point.

Saison Dupont is extraordinary. Maybe the best Saison/Farmhouse ale out there.

Urquell is a pretty good one, probably even better if one gets the chance to try it at the source (Pragues).

Wow, great list of beers that I do not underrate. Actually some all-time favorites. PU, SN Pale Ale, Saison Dupont, Schlenkerla, London Pride. Classics and style definers to me.

Let's see, there are about 8,000 breweries in the US. Given an average number of beer's (at any one time) is probably 10+. So now we are talking about 80,000 different beers, plus factor in the number over a year (seasonals, one-off's, etc.) we are well north of 100,000.

And to single out 15 as underrated?

Not a bad list. Urquell would be in my top 10 easily, if not top 5. And the Aecht Rauchbier, although the Helles would be equal, is a great candidate. Heady though??

I guess stalwarts must constantly be judged (it's a good thing), strength in numbers.

London Pride was my first love. In 2007, some friends and I would hit a local English Pub on the regular. I always drank three imperial pints of it (and the last one was always on the house). We tipped well. Good times.

Birra Moretti La Rossa was the worst Doppelbock I've ever had. I agree with most on the list (that I've had.)

Southern Cal scored with getting Heady Topper. I live in Eastern PA and we all have to drive about 7-8 hours North to get that shah. :persevere::disappointed

Wouldn't be at all surprised to see Heady in more and more areas outside of Vermont. I don't see breweries like Alchemist cutting back production, so distro is their only other option.

I have long felt many breweries that rely on beer travelers for sales will have to replace those customers as fewer people need to travel to get great beer. Now folks are forced not to travel, and getting even better in touch with their excellent locals. Beer tourism likely will not return to anywhere near its former occurrence.
